I found out from my friends that the Jonas Brothers are going to be doing a song on the Disney Mania Volume 6 CD. The song they are doing is “Hakuna Matata“. So make sure you get a copy in stores!

With all the amazing help and comments, the Jonas Brothers are probably going to be Popstar.com‘s Top Popstars of 2007! You guys did it and with all the comments, hopefully they read all the comments (All 1000+ comments) and hopefully they win! Congratulations Kevin, Joe, and Nick no matter what! Congratulations to Nick Jonas for making #7 and in the top 10 from what I saw! Hooray!

Edit by Rocyl: Ryan Seacrest announced on Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve 2008 that the Jonas Brothers are having a new tour, which is called Look Me In The Eyes, and the tour will start on January 31st. Tour dates will be announced on January 3rd, so watch out for it! The boys performed “Hold On”, “We Got The Party”, and “S.O.S.”.

Jonas Brothers fans, the Jonas Brothers need help at 96.7 KISS FM in Austin, Texas! The radio station’s phone number is 512-390-1967, and their website is 967kissfm.com. Even if the have visited the station back in November, 96.7 Kiss FM still refuses to play “S.O.S” really. Make sure you call in or message them on their sites to make sure they play the hit single more before their new single “When You Look Me In The Eyes” comes out! You can also download the podcast of Jonas Brothers on the Bobby Bones Show, and the announcement of their visit, on iTunes (search for “Bobby Bones Show”), or on their website! So make sure you help other Texas fans and the Jonas Brothers out (Thanks Emily again for the news)!

Also there is another fundraiser, donation happening in support of Nick Jonas and diabetes! There is the one by Amy Chau at firstgiving.com/nickjonas. Which hers will end around March, so please keep donating! They already have raised over 300 dollars just from the month of November. Now there is another donation placed called “Nicholas Jonas: Change for the Children Foundation“. The site is created by Kristin and Tori. Here is what they have emailed me:

“We, Kristin and Tori, have created a site to promote diabetes awareness and Nick’s foundation, the Nicholas Jonas Change for the Children Foundation.

The name of the site was inspired by the lyric from “A Little Bit Longer” – “…waiting on a cure, but none of them are sure.”

After hearing the XM 20on20 where Nick told fans to email their Myspace with diabetes stories, we decided to do some research on Nick’s foundation and came up with nothing – hence our reason for creating a site.

The site is still under a bit of construction. We do have some links to diabetes sites, including Nick’s Omnipod story. We plan to expand to a read site in the near future, after we get more support and come into contact with the Jonas Brothers management team.

Another option on the site is to donate. Our hope is to be able to directly donate to Nicks foundation or in Nick’s name, but since right now that is not a possibility – we have set up a page where you can donate directly to the American Diabetes Association. We have been informed that the Jonas’ are members of the ADA and so donating directly would not only be helping millions of other people, but Nick and his family as well.

We understand that not everyone can donate, but if you are able to – it would mean a lot to us and surely a lot to Nick. We hope that we can let Nick know what we as fans are trying to do in helping to find a cure for diabetes.

Predicting a Disney-driven touring success isn’t too much of a stretch, but the Jonas Brothers are making major noise even before the Disney machine fully kicks in.

The trio is still reaping the mania of the Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus tour, and will surely be headlining major venues on its own by the time 2008 comes to a close.

The Hannah Montana tour has provided massive exposure. “Now we’re looking forward to headlining dates in a smaller situation that will hopefully turn into something bigger for the fall of 2008,” manager Johnny Wright says. “In between we will have a new album, a TV show and a movie.”

The Jonas Brothers were scheduled to begin shooting a Disney TV series in January, but because of the Hollywood writers’ strike the show has been put on hold. So they’ll play some first-quarter headlining dates instead at 2,000- and 3,000-seaters. “Our touring plans weren’t scheduled until September of 2008,” Wright says, “but now we’re actually going to start doing some smaller venues in February of 2008 as a headliner.””

Someone has send me a link to a youtube video about how they are dissing the Jonas Brothers, however near the end said something completely rude saying ‘I hope Nick dies from Diabetes‘. Ok, there is one thing where you may not like the Jonas Brothers but it’s another thing when you wish death on someone especially if they do have Diabetes or something. That is completely uncalled for even if you aren’t a fan!

The Jonas Brothers‘ self-titled hit song, “S.O.S.” finally got up to #1 on Singapore’s local radio station 91.3FM on 26 December 2007! They have been #2 for quite a while with Apologize at #1 for 61 nights already and we’re glad that they’ve finally reached #1! The previous time S.O.S. was #1 on 91.3FM was on 7 November 2007. Wow! I hope everyone’s Christmas was good. I got a few good things for presents, sadly no Joe Jonas or any of the Jonas boys were standing near my door with a bow in their head. Haha. I am gonna start writing news and stuff right now because I know tomorrow I got tons of things to do from Jobromance, hanging with family, clean Nickjonline’s gmail account, and work on seeing who are the best person or two to work on Nick J Online soon. So far I lowered it down to 9-10 people, so if you did not get an email about potential coweb application, I am sorry you did not make it. We still love you though, don’t worry on that! So I am sorry if I am not replying back to people or working fast enough, I am currently working on this site and all by myself. But let’s get to some news I got. At The Cheetah Girls’ page on Disney Chanel, you can vote for what you want to see in the upcoming Cheetah Girls movie. They are asking people to send in photos of yourselves as well as 100 word limit messages to the boys. They are then compiling them, 4 people on a page with a specific song for each page. They’ve been working in a community on Livejournal, kind of a branch off of one of the most active JB communities on Livejournal. One of my other favorite celebrity gossip writer, Trent from Pink Is The New Blog, mentioned the Jonas Brothers because of how Britney’s old staff now is the boys’ staff (or can I say Britney’s trash is a the Jonas Brothers’ treasure). Jonas Brothers 2008 Calendar

Hey Fans,

Sorry that I didn’t update yesterday, I was gone and I was hanging out with my best friends I haven’t since in awhile since we all go to different colleges. But of course here starts with the news!

For new co-webs, we will be picking a person (or two?) to be helpers on Nick J Online not until before January 7th. So you still have time to email us. Read the other news entry about it if you are interested. Also to clear up some things, WordPress is the system we use to update our news and mainly this site. Secondly, a capture, recording program is something where you can record TV through your computer, so everytime the Jonas Brothers or Nick Jonas is on the tv, you can recording it already and upload. Then if you want, make screencaptures!

Of course as many heard, the Jonas Brothers went gold not that long ago. However, now they have gone PLATINUM! That is a million copies, how crazy! We are so proud of them and they deserve it. Congratulations boys! So fans who don’t have it, buy the record and you will not be disappointed.

Secondly if you are wondering about 2008 tour dates, The Jonas Brothers will start announcing them January 3rd (yay the day after I see them!), according to Tigerbeat/Bop. When those start rolling in, we will post them on our Nick J Online’s myspace and such.

WTIC-FM 96.5 has put up their interview with the Jonas Brothers. The podcasts to the interviews can be found here. Make sure you check out all 3 parts, they had the interview with Damon and Jeannine. Nick likes black diamonds, so everyone give Nick black diamonds, forget the pop tarts and stuff. I love how they are “magazines makes us wear and do stuff like wear a santa hat…”. Oh those Jonas boys.

The one and only, Nick Jonas was interviewed by the Boston Globe on the phone for their article, thanks to Rocyl for telling me:
“We chatted with Nick by phone from Cincinnati last week.

Q: What’s the best perk of being on the hottest tour of the year?

A: There’s the obvious boost in record sales, that always helps (laughs). It’s a sold-out arena tour, which is most people’s dream when they think of being in a band, and the fact that we’re living the dream is amazing for us.

Q: The sound on your records is vintage power-pop and classic rock that predates your birth. Where do you draw your inspiration from?

A: I think we have a lot of different influences. Big ones are Johnny Cash, Prince, Stevie Wonder, the Animals, the Rascals, the Steve Miller Band, and the Beatles, obviously.

Q: In terms of longevity, teen pop bands don’t have the best track record. What’s your long-term plan?

A: I think we definitely are going to expand our horizons, not only do music but possibly produce for other artists. We’re definitely going to write for other artists, and also acting is a big thing in our future. I think the really important thing is that you write your own songs and play your own instruments. That will really help us in the future, and we’re very confident about that.

Q: With all of this quick success, what do you do to stay grounded?

A: It’s important to remember that we’re family before we’re a band. Also, our parents are amazing. And we live by a rule, which is live like you’re at the bottom even if you’re at the top. Which just basically means live your life knowing that just because you have amazing opportunities doesn’t make you better than anybody else.”

The Jonas Brothers have posted a new youtube video to their account about the Holidays. Sadly, it’s not a full message saying like, “Hey we are the Jonas Brothers. I am Nick. I am Joe and I am Kevin. we want to wish you all Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year! Thank you for all your support.” It’s just a message, video clip of them performing and saying sorry Santa!

Sadly I got bad news (well bad in my opinion, just for me). Starting in mid January 2008, I will be having less time to work on Nick J Online due to my class schedule. I am not leaving this site, just mostly when I have time to work and update is more on the weekends. This is when I realize, we are going to need some awesome co-webmasters to help keep Nick J Online still the most updated and best site for Nick out there! However, we can’t just pick anyone. So with Ryan, we made a requirement list:
