Saturday Night In The UK
Hey everyone!
Sorry we missed yesterday’s blog. There was no internet service where we were and so we had to wait until today. Thanks for checking.

Yesterday we started the day by visiting a radio station in Birmingham, England. There were fans outside waiting when we arrived at the station. We had a great interview and then they dialed us in to another station for another interview.

Our show yesterday in Birmingham was amazing! The crowd was with us from the beginning. They made us feel so welcome. Avril came out during our set and listened to our show. We met her after the set and she was so nice. We went out and listened to her show tonight. It is amazing how many hits she has recorded.

After the show we drove back to London. Remember the doubledecker bus…well it got stuck and could not fit into the street where we were staying. We had to get out and get another car to drive us to the hotel.

Today we started the day in London. We recorded a really cool show called Green Room. The put you in a Green Room with other bands and artists. After a while each group goes out and performs in front of a studio audience. The other bands/artists were cool. They put all kinds of weird things in the Green Room. They should not let Joe near some of those things, i.e. Hulk hands, Mexican wrestling masks, etc.

After the Green Room we went outside and there were tons of fans waiting for us in the street. It is so fun to see people in another country that seem to like our music. We still can’t believe it!

Then we drove to Cardiff, Wales. The show was amazing again. Each show is getting more and more exciting.

After the show we drove to the next town and we will have another show tomorrow.

Hey everyone!
Today was our third show on our European tour with Avril! The day started in London and when we woke up we got to see our brand new bus for the first time. Getting up this morning wasn’t to hard. When we walked on the bus we were already excited because our bus is a cool blue color! When we walked on the bus we were on the first floor of the bus. I know what your thinking “first floor”? We know its crazy?! The buses here are double deckers (even the touring kind). The downstairs has an awesome lounge and full kitchen and of course…the driver! Then we walked upstairs and that’s where all the bunks are. The bunks are great and very comfortable. The only thing is that all of the plugs for your cell phone and computers are all different. You need all different sorts of electric converters. The bus also has an awesome lounge upstairs where there is a game system and a TV and lots and lots of DVD’s. But for all of us the coolest part is that there is a sitting area right above the driver with massage chairs and a giant glass window to look out while we drive! So cool.

We drove to Manchester! When we got there we did a bunch of stuff for radio today and it was very cool getting to be in a brand new city and know that they have been playing our song SOS. Then we headed to the venue where we had sound check and did some French TV liners. We have to say we got pretty good at our French accents but we need lots more practice.

The show was amazing and from the very start of it people were jumping up and down and going crazy. It was so cool to see people singing the words to songs that have never been released here in the UK. It was amazing. When we left there were tons of people outside by the gate and we made sure we said hello and took lots of pictures. Tomorrow’s going to be a great day as well. We can’t wait to play our first show in Burmingham!

Rockers Joe, Kevin & Nick Jonas Take Part In The “Disney Channel Games 2008”

It’s not quite the Olympics, but the Disney Channel Games 2008 are being called a world class event by the popular stars who competed in the fun-filled sports event held at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida.

The wild competition took place last month, but won’t be seen until July, when the Disney Channel Games will air as five half-hour special presentations. Broadcasting around the world exclusively on the Disney Channels, it will feature the stars from the shows Hannah Montana, The Suite Life of Zack & Cody, Cory in the House, The Cheetah Girls, As the Bell Rings, Minutemen, Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior, and more Disney favorites. Also included will be the Jonas Brothers, the ultra-popular rock stars of the new movie Camp Rock, premiering June 20 on the Disney Channel.

Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas took part in relay races, obstacle courses and other fun challenges. And after the games were over, the Jonas boys took part in a sensational concert, along with their good friend Miley Cyrus, the multi-Platinum songbirds The Cheetah Girls, fan favorite Jordan Pruitt, and Demi Lovato, the lovely rising star who plays opposite the Jonas brothers in Camp Rock…

The Jonas Brothers have selected “Burnin’ Up” as the first single from their next album, “A Little Bit Longer,” due Aug. 12 via Hollywood. The track will be augmented with an “action-packed James Bond-esque adventure” video, according to the label.

“Burnin’ Up” (which will be shipped June 20 to U.S. radio outlets), “Little Bit Longer” and “Pushing Me Away” were all debuted on the group’s most recent tour. The new album was executive produced by John Fields; some of the recording was done last fall on a Gibson-outfitted tour bus.

The Jonas Brothers are already sizzling with “We Rock,” the first single from their made-for-Disney Channel movie “Camp Rock.” The track debuts this week at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot 100 Singles Sales chart after 11,000 sales in an exclusive Wal-Mart edition.

The “Camp Rock” soundtrack is due June 17 via Walt Disney Records, while the movie premieres three days later. Meanwhile, the Jonas Brothers begin their “Burning Up” arena tour July 4 in Toronto with special guest Demi Lovato, who also appears in “Camp Rock.”

3. CAMP ROCK: With all the hype of the movie, what do you expect? Now on Orlando Sentinel they stated how in the Disney Hollywood Studios is starting to put up and sell merchandise relating to Camp Rock also with the “Walt Disney World” logo (so expect it to sell at both Disneyland and DisneyWorld Studio/Theme stores). Ready for Camp Rock?
Walt Disney World isn’t waiting to cash in on Disney Channel’s upcoming movie, Camp Rock, which stars the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Over the weekend, we spotted several T-shirts at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, including one seen here already branded with the WDW logo.

Disney Channel is hoping for another franchise as big as High School Musical. But this time, the marketing machine is prepared. The movie has it own Web site with facts, games, posters and a countdown to the premiere on June 20, and you can pre-order the CD and DVD.

What’s next — an attraction at one of the Disney parks?
If it’s done as well as the HSM pep rally, we hope so. What started as a stage show in the Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland was transformed into a high-energy performance by singers and dancers who arrive on a float and involve HSM fans from the audience. The pep rally was revamped after HSM2 debuted last year, and both versions at Hollywood Studios have drawn a huge crowd.

With the popularity of the Jonas Brothers, a Camp Rock attraction is sure to be a hit.

How are you?
So today we woke up real early to get on a flight to London.
We had some amazing Cereal in the Airport as we waited on our flight!
When we landed we went to the Paul O’Grady Show.
We had so much fun. Tons of fans came and showed there support! We love you guys! we played S.O.S., had an interview with Paul and ate some traditional U.K. food. He’s really funny!
We were not scared to try any foods they offered us. We also danced with a very famous dancing group.

Afterwards we went to our favorite restaurant here in London. they serve Steak and French Fries. Two of our favorite things.

New York – May 27, 2008—Disney Book Group will publish an exclusive behind-the-scenes book from the chart-topping Jonas Brothers—one of the hottest bands in the world today—on tour. The Platinum-certified recording artists and stars of the upcoming “Camp Rock” Disney Channel Original Movie will share never-before-seen photos along with exclusive commentary. The announcement was made today by Jeanne Mosure, senior vice president, global publisher, Disney Publishing Worldwide.

The book will be published in fall 2008 and will give fans a backstage glimpse at the Jonas Brothers—20 year old Kevin, 18 year old Joe, and 15 year old Nick. Disney Book Group has acquired world rights for the title.

“We have such an amazing time performing at our concerts, and to be able to chronicle all of the fun for our fans and readers is just incredible for us,” say brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick. “We hope our fans get to relive our shows and discover things they haven’t seen before through our book.”

“The Jonas Brothers are such a huge multi-media phenomenon.” says Mosure. “We are thrilled to have this opportunity to share their tour with their fans and to help kids connect with the Jonas brothers in this exclusive way.”

The book deal was negotiated by Jonathan Yaged, vice president, North America publisher, Disney Book Group and will be published under the Disney-Hyperion Books imprint. The Jonas Brothers are exclusively managed by Philip McIntyre/Philymack Inc.; Kevin Jonas/Simple Days Management; and John Wright/Wright Entertainment Group. Yaged added: “We are extremely excited to give fans this unique opportunity to see what really happens backstage with one of the world’s biggest bands.

The Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records and released their self-titled sophomore record in August of the same year. Within a week it reached number five on the Billboard Hot 200 chart. From October 2007 through January 2008, they launched a solo headline tour in spring of 2008, breaking the record for fastest sellout in the history of the Gibson amphitheater. The band will star in the Disney Channel Original Movie, Camp Rock, which will premiere in June 2008. They will be embarking on an international tour beginning this summer. Additionally, a 3-D concert feature film starring the Jonas brothers will hit theaters in January 2008. The Jonas Brothers third album, A Little Bit Longer, is set to release August 12th 2008.

The Jonas Brothers were supposed to preform on June 19th in the melkweg (the Netherlands).

But because there is something wrong with the communication! The concert is not gonna happen!
Everyone wanted this concert (also JB) but it is not gonna happen,everyone is working now for another concert and an other date!
JB really wanted to play in the Netherlands, so they are gonna come back!

June 20th
The Jonas Brothers ARE COMING to the Netherlands for the concert with Avril on 20th of June.

May 27, 2008 – Burbank, CA — Jonas Brothers announced today their highly anticipated album will be titled A Little Bit Longer and will hit stores August 12. The CD is a follow up to the platinum selling Jonas Brothers CD which debuted at 5 on Billboard’s Top 200 last August on Disney’s Hollywood Records. Jonas Brothers have spent the last year and a half working tirelessly, creating a tsunami-sized swell that prompted Oprah Winfrey to compare the mania of the Jonas Brothers to that of the Beatles (April 24, 2008 episode.)

The first single from A Little Bit Longer will be “Burnin’ Up,” and the video will be an action packed James Bond-esque adventure. “Burning Up” is also the name of Jonas Brothers’ upcoming headline arena tour that kicks off July 4 in Toronto with special guest Demi Lovato. Most of the dates for the “Burning Up” tour sold out in record time, including two shows at the venerable Madison Square Garden in New York.

Jonas Brothers recorded much of A Little Bit Longer while on tour last fall in a specially outfitted Gibson tour bus. John Fields returns as executive producer of their new CD. 2nd Concert!

Hey everyone!

What’s up! We just finished our second show here in Scotland! It was a lot of fun! It was crazy. The crowd sang along, had signs, and danced!

It gets dark really late here. It’s 10ish and the sun is still out! I think its because we are so far north.

We went to a radio station today. It was so cool. Their accents rock. We want one.

They told us to try deep fried candy bars. We are going to go try some now…

Last night we set up a mini golf course on the stairway in our hotel. We had a major game of “hotel putt putt”

Big Rob even played!

We are still trying to readjust to the time difference. Hopefully tonight we are going to get some rest. Big Rob was listening to “house music” all night long and keeping us awake.

Tomorrow we play the Paul O’ Grady show in London.

We also see our double decker tour bus for the first time.

Tonight we meet some fans outside the theater. There were twice as many tonight as last night.

For those of you that are wondering… Yes, we did meet guys in Kilts!

Hey everyone!

We just got off stage from our first concert in Glasgow. Scotland. It has been quite a day.

This morning we went outside our hotel and found a group of fans waiting. They were still waiting when we got home tonight. They were not able to get tickets to the show so we gave them tickets.

We also had fans waiting outside of the venue tonight. It was really great to have people in Scotland that already knew our music. They made us feel wonderful.

The concert started a few minutes late because people were still coming into the venue. Most of the people were in place by the time we took the stage. They did not know most of our songs but they got into it and they encouraged us to sing our hearts out. By the end people were clapping, shouting and joining us. It was awesome.

It is fun to go back in our memory to when it was new in America. There were so many times that we opened for someone else (or had small groups of people in our shows) and had to find a way to connect. It is frightening and strangely wonderful to work hard on stage and hopefully win over a crowd.

So far the people of Scotland have been so kind. We have another show here tomorrow night, then Manchester and London.

We saw our video last night for SOS on TV. That was crazy! They also told us that SOS will be added to one of the largest radio stations and MTV here in the UK.

6. TELEVISION: A few days ago, Chelsea Handler from the Chelsea Lately has mentioned the Jonas Brothers twice. Then she mentioned them while she was interviewing Justin Guarini. 7. PETITION: We don’t post petitions really anymore because of the chaos it caused but this one we don’t mind because it related to Camp Rock and personally we love all the cast members on there! We want everyone to check in daily for updates and journal entries from our tour. We will be adding our thoughts everyday about the Avril Livigne tour in Europe and then our Burning Up Tour in north America.

FIRST ENTRY:
We are all here packing our bags to leave for Europe for our first tour in the UK and Europe. We are hearing from a lot of the fans that we will see. This is so exciting! We will see some of the faces in person that we have seen online for years now.

This week was SO busy. We were on the East Coast last week doing radio shows in Philly, New York and Boston. It was great to go back home. The fans made us feel awesome.

This week we were in the studio with our good friend Demi Lovato working on her new CD.
Wednesday night we were on AMERICAN IDOL singing SOS. The crowd was awesome and then we went to an amazing Lakers/Spurs game at the Staples Center.
Thursday and Friday we filmed the first video from our new CD. We can’t wait for you to see this video. It was crazy fun.

Now we are off to the airport.
Can’t wait to see you!!!!!!!!

1. DC GAMES: According to the little summer calendar download thing that came with the Camp Rock fan pack, the Disney Channel Games are set to premiere on July 27th and the closing ceremonies is set to air on August 30th. [Thanks Rachel]

2. UK: The Jonas Brothers were on the Paul o Grady Show today, but it was only a short segment about them meeting an interviewer from the show when they were in London. They were also made to try some jellied eel, which they all discretely spat out into their napkins. Paul o Grady said that they would be live in the studio next week. [Thanks Sophie]

3. CAMP ROCK: At Target stores, they are selling the single of “We Rock” from the DCOM’s Camp Rock. It includes the song, the instrumental version, and free ringtone. If you put it in your computer, it has the music video, Camp Rock movie preview, and summer calendar. There is also a mini-poster with Nick, Joe, Kevin, and Demi. Also, it talks about the “Exclusive 2-Disk Special Edition” soundtrack that will be available at Target that includes: “Rock On – Making of the Music”, a Jonas Brothers album preview, photo slideshow and music video, and stickers. Like most of the country, the guys watch “Idol,” but Kevin said they are somewhat torn on the David vs. David finale. “We don’t really know who to go for,” he said. “One’s the rocker and one’s, like, more all-American. You just don’t know.” Fine, fellas, but at the end of the day, you’ve got to choose — and when pressed, Joe’s rock leanings prevail: “For me, I would say David Cook.” Meanwhile, Nick, ever the diplomat, said, “I’m torn. I have to see ‘em perform.”

Either David would be lucky to have the adulation currently being heaped on the boys from Jersey, who helicoptered into the Meadowlands, running a bit late and thus cutting down our 10-minute interview to seven-and-a-half minutes. Yikes. Time is money. Speaking of which, the brothers are about to shoot a new video (they would not disclose the name of the track), tour Europe for a few weeks with Avril Lavigne and then head back here for a summer tour and the August 12 release of a new frères Jonas album, A Little Bit Longer.

1. MAGAZINES: In the latest Tigerbeat magazine, Nick Jonas talks about relationships and girls. He mentions a few interesting facts that I thought I should mention my friend sent to me. Make sure you pick up the magazine to read the rest and look at all the other things in the magazine filled with Jonas. Honestly, I believe he’s just more than the boy from the Jonas Brothers! What’s your type of girl?
I don’t really have a type. I think when you create a specific, type it kind of messes with everything. Like if you say, ‘I only date this type of person,’ then that one person’s going to come along that’ll change all of that and you’re not going to be to able to accept it. You could have missed a good opportunity.

Have you ever had a bad breakup?
Luckily for me, I’ve never had a bad breakup. I try to be gentleman. Even in a breakup because you can’t go from really liking someone, possibly loving someone, to not caring about them at all that quickly.

What can you tell from a girl’s eyes?
I think you can tell if they’re genuine with their personality. Personally, it’s really important for me if I meet a girl to know that she likes me for who I am. I don’t want them to think of me as ‘the guy from the Jonas Brothers.’

I just kind of smile a lot. I don’t really get nervous or red. That’s about it. I don’t give away to much.

7. UK: Sorry for the mistake but apparently, THE PAUL O GRADY SHOW featuring the Jonas Brothers will be aired tomorrow, May 21st at 5pm (UK Only/Time) and tonight on SKY channel 355 in the UK, Chart Show TV, there is an hour long interview with The Jonas Brothers at 7pm.

8. MAGAZINES: According to an email we got, the Jonas Brothers now have a People Magazine: Special Collector’s Edition all about them! It has some amazing pics that I have never seen before, even from that photoshoot with the bed and the mopeds. There are amazing pictures of Nick! By Kimmy: Hey Everyone! I’ve been with family and cousins I haven’t seen in months today. I am now adding photos from ZOOTOPIA! Then some HQ copies from the event will be added soon. If you took some good photos of Nick, groups shots from the Q102 Concert, please put in a zip folder and send it to our staff email.

By Kimmy: I have added the photos from Zootopia as well as the backstage interview. I have added a new video to the video section that has extra scenes from Living The Dream not shown yet. I have also added news photos from Tigerbeat’s Celebrity Spectular (sp?) magazine issue of Maya with the Jonas Brothers. If you are wondering who is Maya. Maya is Nick Jonas’s best friend and her family is good friends with the Jonas family. I love Maya so no negative comments, please! (DO NOT REMOVE TAGS, ITS A WAY OF CREDITING SO I KNOW).
