While touring with Avril Lavigne in Europe, all three of the Jonas Brothers say they’re quite impressed with the Canadian pop star.

“Avril is amazing and the tour is going incredible so far,” Nick Jonas says. “We’re having so much fun meeting new fans out here in Europe. And, so far, it has been incredible and it’s amazing to watch her set and just see how many hits she has. As you listen to her song at the beginning it’s like, ‘Wait a minute, I know that song too.’ It’s incredible.”

Joe Jonas also says he knew most of her material, but also sees another side to Lavigne.

“As a person, she is really nice and she watched our show and she really enjoyed, it,” he says. “So, we’re looking forward to continue touring with her.”

The Trio also says that the hectic touring and side projects during the last few years have definitely had an influence on their songwriting. Nick Jonas says he’s especially pleased with how the tune Sorry turned out.

“It’s a song about being on the road and having to apologize to somebody for not being there,” he says. “I think it’ll give people an idea of what it’s like on the road and not being able to be there for someone…”

And, unlike the Backstreet Boys, the trio says they might never have to stage a reunion tour for a very simple reason.

“I think for us, we’re different because we’re brothers and we might not ever break up, but I think we’d love to continue to tour for many years to come.”

7. FANS: You may or may not heard of the chaos that Minnesota Fans did. on Saturday, June 28th over 250 fans gathered at the Mall of America to start a Jonas Brothers convention. They rounded over 400 signatures within half an hour. They made such chaos that they got kicked out of the bridge which was their meeting area. Then got kicked out of the mall and then escorted off the premises by security guards. Make sure you spread the world and check out the video of them at the mall in our video section. Hey everyone!

The last few days have been crazy. We were so busy but everything was great.

We had a great show in Berlin with Avril. The crowd was amazing and so many people now are coming that know that words to the songs. There were a lot of people that wore JB clothing and carried signs.

We also filmed several TV shows while we were in Berlin, including an outside concert on a boat parked right beside a large group of people. It was raining all day but stopped raining just in time for the concert. There was a HUGE crowd there. We watched and listened to some of the footage and it was cool.

We went to Copenhagen and had another great show on the Avril tour. There were so many fans waiting outside the venue after our show. They made us feel very welcome.

Today we got up really early and flew to London. We filmed a few things for online and for the record company here in Europe. Then we did one of the most amazing things we have done so far…

WE DROVE AROUND LONDON ON A DOUBLE-DECKER BUS WITH OUR PICTURE AND ALBUM INFO ON THE SIDE. WE stopped near Buckingham Palace and picked up a group of contest winners who road on the bus with us as we sang songs. Once again, there was a huge crowd of people running after the bus. There were so many people freaking out.

We ended the day at the HMV Music store. The store was packed with JB fans. It was fun to see the people from the label there with their mouths wide open and their hands over their ears. The shouts were so loud. We signed for 300 people that waited in line. They told us that there were a lot of people that had been in line since the day before. The wristbands were gone in 30 minutes.

As we were leaving there was a group of girls running after our vehicles. It will never grow old to us to see hundreds of screaming fans chasing our car AND the looks on the faces of people when our fans come around the corner running after our cars screaming. Totally crazy!

Tomorrow will be the last concert on this tour and then we head to Toronto to rehearse for OUR tour. We are so excited.

“We ended the day at the HMV Music store. The store was packed with JB fans. It was fun to see the people from the label there with their mouths wide open and their hands over their ears. The shouts were so loud. We signed for 300 people that waited in line. They told us that there were a lot of people that had been in line since the day before. The wristbands were gone in 30 minutes.

BIG DAY TOMORROW IN LONDON!!!!

Hey everyone!
We wanted to get this out to you. Tomorrow is going to be a BIG DAY in LONDON for the Jonas Brothers.

This is our chance to meet our fans in London.

It's nearly time…………………..time to meet the Jonas Brothers in person as they get on down to London's HMV, Oxford St. to play a live show and sign copies of their brilliant self titled debut album THIS FRIDAY (June 27). They'll be there at 6pm and if you want to be there too you'll need to be quick to get your hands on a wristband. It's first come first served to pick them up at HMV from 9am tomorrow.

It's going to be massive but if you can't be there don't panic because you can still grab a front row ride with the band on Friday by heading over to their bebo page where you'll be able to watch them live via the Kyte player as they travel around London on an open top bus for the afternoon before jumping off at HMV for the live show. Or how about showing your support by lining the bus route for them? Click here to check out a map of their journey which kicks off at 4pm tomorrow so you can see exactly where they're gonna be (and if you are coming don't forget to bring some rockin' big banners with you so the boys can see you good and proper).

ALEXANDRIA, VA–(Marketwire – June 26, 2008) – The Jonas Brothers are one of today’s hottest bands, with one of the summer’s most highly-anticipated tours, appearances on TV, and a new album coming out in August. But what most people don’t realize is that while he’s singing and playing on stage with his brothers, Nick Jonas, 15, is also wearing an insulin pump. The cover story of the July 2008 issue of Diabetes Forecast, the consumer magazine of the American Diabetes Association, shares the Jonas family’s struggle with Nick’s diagnosis of type 1 diabetes in November 2005, and will inspire all parents who are coping with their daughter’s or son’s diabetes.

“Nicholas is so self-sufficient,” says his mother, Denise Jonas. “Even at that age he was quick to learn how to give himself shots… And I wanted him to take over because I knew I wasn’t going to be around him all the time.” The Jonases also have multiple back up systems in place behind the scenes; family members, assistants, and even the band’s security team carry glucagon, fruit snacks, and an extra insulin pump.

It took the Jonas family more than a year to address Nick’s condition publicly, but since then he’s been a strong advocate and role model for others with the disease. He even wrote a song about being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, established a foundation with his brothers called Change for the Children, and gives concert tickets to young people with type 1 diabetes. Nick believes that managing diabetes has brought him and his mother closer together, stating that their relationship is “definitely stronger and more supportive… She is always watching me and caring.”

The support and appreciation is mutual. Denise Jonas says of her 15-year-old rock star son, “I know who he is and know that he can accomplish anything he sets his mind to, so I don’t think that he will ever allow diabetes, or anything else, to slow him down.”

Tweeners Tune In For ‘Camp Rock’

“Camp Rock,” Disney’s latest made-for-television musical, kept millions of tween viewers on the couch over the weekend, drawing an average of 8.9 million viewers to the Disney Channel Friday night and 3.6 million to ABC on Saturday night.

The Disney Channel premiere was the most popular show on television on Friday, and it ranked as the cable channel’s top-rated entertainment telecast of the year. But it did not reach the heights of the reigning tween musical, “High School Musical 2,” which netted 17.2 million viewers last August.

Disney had high hopes for “Camp Rock,” which stars the Jonas Brothers and the teenage singer Demi Lovato. Its decision to show the “Camp Rock” premiere over a four-day period will mean a bigger ratings bounce. In addition to the broadcast premiere on Saturday, it will be shown for the ABC Family channel Sunday night and will be streamed on Disney.com beginning on Monday.

WHAT A WEEKEND!!!

Hey everyone!
We just got to our hotel after driving all night from Mannheim, Germany. This weekend we have been SO BUSY with shows and getting news from home.

The show in Belgium was amazing. The crowd was so pumped and felt like home. It was the loudest crowd yet and so many had signs and shirts. IT was encouraging that it was working here in Europe. We started hearing reports this weekend of SOS and the CD charting in some of the nations we have visited. Very exciting.

We drove to Mannheim and had a wonderful show. Our parents have good friends in Mannheim that came to visit. We spent time after the show meeting a huge group of fans.

The biggest news from the weekend was probably the Camp Rock news from back home. It was so hard to not be there during the premieres on Disney, ABC and ABC Family. We heard from family, friends, but most importantly…WE HEARD FROM YOU.

You officially made it wonderful for us. We read your comments and the posts to our last BLOG (now officially our largest blog to date). We watched YouTubes of all of you and your reactions to the songs and BURNIN’ UP VIDEO. It made our weekend.

We heard about your Camp Rock parties. Some of you posted the parties online. We watched some of them. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

We will finish this trip by the end of the week. Then we are back in North America to prepare for our BURNIN’ UP TOUR. Get your tickets if you do not have them. We want to see everyone this summer.

Also, don’t forget to let your radio stations know that you want to hear BURNIN’ UP on your local Top 40 stations or XM 20on20.

We just woke up in Europe and wish we could be with all of you in the US during this Camp Rock weekend.
Camp Rock and Burnin’ Up played last night on the Disney Channel. TONIGHT IT PLAYS ON ABC and you can see an awesome MAKING OF THE VIDEO. The video for Burnin’ Up was added to ITunes yesterday and is already No. 1 on the ITunes video chart.

We also heard that a lot of radio stations played Burnin’ Up and it was already doing well. Burnin’ Up is also up on our YouTube page (www.youtube.com/jonasbrothersmusic).
