Hey there Nick J Online!
A while back, you posted an e-mail that someone sent you about JDRF’s Walk To Cure Diabetes. It explained the plan of joining the walk, and making a “Team Jonas” in every state/town’s Walk To Cure Diabetes. Being a huge supporter of Nicholas, and having a father with diabetes, I jumped at the chance to join the walk. I created a “Team Jonas” for the walk in Jersey City, NJ. But to my surprise, NO ONE has joined the team at all. (I’m the team leader) This team was created several months back, but I have yet to have anyone join. I’ve tried posting several myspace bulletins, commenting JB, and even messaging them. But still, no success. It would be AMAZING if you could encourage JB fans to enter the walk, and donate on my fund raising page.
Please let everyone know that no matter how small or large the donation is, every cent is a step closer to finding a cure to diabetes. Not only will this help out the wonderful Nicholas Jerry Jonas, but it will help kids everywhere who suffer from diabetes.

Jonas Dad Speaks Out About Son’s Diabetes Battle
The father of sibling trio The Jonas Brothers is tired of people who don’t take diabetes seriously – because he has to watch his teenage son attempting to manage his insulin levels every day.
Kevin Jonas Sr. insists those who dismiss the blood sugar disease should spend a day on a tour bus with his 15-year-old son Nick, who was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2005.
The young singer spent nine months trying to stabilize his condition and now has an exhaustive daily routine of jabs, tests and treatment – just to stay healthy.
His dad says, “I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to hear people belittle diabetes because it’s maintainable.
“They’ve never had to sit on a bus when a pump didn’t work and a second pump didn’t work… and a third didn’t, and he had to give himself a shot when we’re driving down a highway.
“Everybody on our team is on full alert, watching every move Nick makes on that stage every single night of his life.”
In a new Rolling Stone magazine expose, Nick reveals he has an insulin pump and catheter attached to his back when he performs so he can stabilize the insulin levels in his system throughout shows.
He also pricks his finger as much as 12 times a day so he can check his blood-sugar levels.

Jonas Brothers Raising Money for Kids’ Charity
NEW YORK, July 30 (UPI) — The Jonas Brothers have agreed to auction off exclusive backstage passes and premium concert tickets to benefit its children’s charity.
The proceeds from the online auctions are to benefit the Change for Children Foundation, which the band said it started to “support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed.”
Charityfolks.com is exclusively auctioning off the packages, which include four seats and a backstage “meet and greet” for concerts in more than a dozen U.S. cities in August and September.
The band’s Disney movie Camp Rock was watched by 8.9 million viewers and helped establish their single “Burnin’ Up” as a hit. The band is to release its new album “A Little Bit Longer” August 12.

Thousands of kids experienced the biggest night of their summer – and the biggest production Verizon Wireless Amphitheater has seen in some time – when Disney pop-rock trio the Jonas Brothers headlined a concert at the outdoor venue Tuesday night.
The Jonas’ 15-year-old “Camp Rock” co-star Demi Lovato warmed up the throng of youngsters and their parents, igniting plenty of shrieking from the crowd with a rock-infused set. The screams continued as the crowd rose for every Jonas-worshiping text message and the unveiling of Avril Lavigne’s pink plaid skull and crossbones backdrop.
The 23-year-old Lavigne – a veteran compared to her tour mates, with six years and three Top 5 albums to her credit – kicked off her set with “Girlfriend.” Everything from her Telecasters to her mic stand was bedazzled with pink glitter. She stuck to the cheerleader punk of her last album, “The Best Damn Thing,” and her 2002 debut “Let Go,” omitting more adult material like her 2007 single “Hot.”
I was the envy of all tweenage girls Tuesday when I had the chance to meet and spend the day with the Jonas Brothers, the Disney-cultivated “it” pop group of the moment.
The boys, Nick, Joe and Kevin – ages 15, 18 and 20, respectively – go nonstop from city to city, promoting their tour, upcoming album, charity and latest acting gigs.
But in their downtime, they manage to make room to be normal kids.
8 a.m.: The brothers arrive in Charlotte after playing Cincinnati the night before.
Noon: News conference with select group of media at the Westin Charlotte. Among the highlights: Joe jokes that the biggest thing he looks forward to when visiting family in North Carolina (his father’s side of the family is from Gaston County) is Cracker Barrel. His brothers chime in, “We love having family around. Family is No.1 for us.”
12:30 p.m.: Autograph signings for the media, including an electric guitar that Ace & TJ from Kiss 95.1 will auction for their charity, Grin Kids.

ST. JUDES and CINCINNATI, OHIO

Hi everyone!
Today was a life changing day. We got up really really early and caught a flight to Memphis, TN where we visited the St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. This facility is where children with cancer go for treatment. We met so many of the kids and they were so happy to see us. Thanks to all of you we were able to leave them a check for $10,000. We really hope we will be able to do more. The children were inspirations to all of us.
After we finished we flew to Cincinnati, OH for another concert. We performed for approx. 15,000 people. The place looked packed. There was so much excitement in the place. It is always fun to visit Ohio.
We drove all night and woke up here in Charlotte. We will visit some of our family here and then do a show tonight.
We are so excited about our new song coming out on ITunes last night. When we woke up this morning it was already at No. 13. Make sure you take a listen.
Next week will be the last song before the CD comes out on August 12th…

Hey everyone!
The last few days have been amazing! We have been very busy.
We were in Hershey PA for the largest show of the summer. Over 30,000 people filled our first ever stadium show. Last summer we were in the park in front of 600 people in 2 shows. We simply could not believe our eyes (and ears). IT was unbelievable. There were so many people and they were all so excited. We heard that there were people there all day celebrating. They even had a tail gating party. They gave us each a 5 pound chocolate bar with our pics on it. They told us that they had only done that for us and the Rolling Stones. Pretty unbelievable.
Last night we were in Hartford, Conn. We still remember our first sell out ever was in HArtford (there were 100 people in the club). Last night there were 21,000. It is so crazy! It was one of the loudest crowds of the summer.
Today is a day off THEN we will leave tomorrow to visit a hospital for kids with serious illness. Then we are off to OHIO for shows.

Hannah Montana star Jason Earles mouthed off about which Jonas Brother is the best in upcoming Disney Channel Games. He proclaimed jokingly [I think] to Popstar!:
‘We got the best Jonas Brother! I mean, Nick’s not old and used up like the other two. He’s youthful and athletic. The other ones are done. Have you seen them? They’re so yesterday. [Laughs] Nick is the future.

Has Selena Gomez been writing songs about her rumored boyfriend Nick Jonas?
A source claims that back in February, the star of Disney’s Wizards of Waverly Place wrote a song inspired by the youngest brother of the hitmaking Jonas Brothers trio.
“They were writing lyrics for the bridge, and she was saying how Nick makes her so mad when he doesn’t call her back,” the source tells E! News about the tune, titled “Head First.” “The verse was definitely written about Nick Jonas.”
The source claims (as did People magazine yesterday) that Gomez, 16, and Jonas, 15, have been an item for several months.
Gomez’s rep, however, insists the two are nothing more than a couple of good buddies.
“She is friends with all of the Jonas Brothers,” the rep said. “Her best friend, Demi Lovato, is on tour with them, so it makes sense that she’s been at some of their shows.”
Just last month, Gomez predicted her personal life would undoubtedly become tabloid fodder. “Sometimes you can get caught up in the media, but I’ve just learned to not let it bother me, and I know that it’s only going to get worse,” she told me. “I think that with the support of my friends and family, that’s all I need to pull me through.”

Today, preteen girls all over are reserving their screams for the Jonas Brothers, the New Jersey-bred teens whose heartthrob status has gone into overdrive since the release of their debut album in 2005.
On Aug. 1, the brothers — Nick, Kevin and Joe — will descend upon Toyota Pavilion at Montage Mountain with their “Burning Up” Tour, one of the bigger concert attractions of the year.
Meanwhile, the boys have plenty of other stuff going on. Their recent TV movie, “Camp Rock,” was a huge hit when it aired on Disney Channel, which is also home to their reality show, “Living the Dream.” Meanwhile, their new single, “Burning Up,” hit the top of the iTunes charts the day it was released. And, their latest album, “A Little Bit Longer,” is set to hit stores Aug. 12.

Hey everyone!
What a day! We started the day with a press conference. We actually have a group of press showing up on specific days while we are on tour. Today was special because we were able to give a donation from the Jonas Brothers’ Change For the Children Foundation to the UN Nothing But Nets charity that provides protective nets for children in Africa to protect them from possible Malaria. After the press conference we went to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway and rode in the cars around the speedway. It was so fast but so fun.
The concert was electric. There were almost 19,000 people there. It feels like the show gets better each night. We really can’t wait to see all of you while we are out on tour.
Yesterday was big because our ROLLING STONE MAGAZINE COVER came out. You can get it now on stands everywhere. WE are so honored to be on the cover and have an article in Rolling Stones. Hope you like it.

DAY OFF AND THEN OMAHA!!!

Hey everyone!
Just wanted to update you from the road. We took the day off on Sunday. It was awesome to stop for a day and do nothing except rest and have fun.
On Monday we flew into Omaha, Nebraska and had a show. It was an amazing show. The crowd was up and shouting before we even took the stage. It was one of the loudest crowds yet. It was an arena so we were inside. Most of the summer we will be outside in amphitheaters.
After the show we flew to St. Louis. Today we will be joined by Avril Lavigne. She is doing 8 dates with us on our summer tour. Will be good to see her again.

The Jonas Brothers will be featured on Studio DC: Almost Live. The half-hour variety show will feature special appearances by Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan & Cole Sprouse, Jonas Brothers, and (of course) the Muppets. Miss Piggy’s failing attempts to join Nick, Joe and Kevin for a musical number (posing as a long-lost Joanas Sister). Make sure you tune in on August 3rd at 8 pm ET/PT on the Disney Channel.
“Studio DC: Almost Live” Moves to August Premiere
As previously reported, The Muppets have teamed up with the Disney Channel stars for an all-new variety show special. “Studio DC: Almost Live!”, originally slated for a July premiere, has since been rescheduled and is now set to make its bit debut on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at 8:00pm ET/PT (check your local listings for details). The half-hour variety show will feature special appearances by Miley Cyrus, Ashley Tisdale, Dylan & Cole Sprouse, Jonas Brothers, and (of course) the Muppets. The special will feature singing and dancing, comedy sketches and the backstage antics of the original Disney Channel variety show.
Highlights of the program include Miley Cyrus performing her hit song “GNO” with the help of the Electic Mayhem; Kermit the Frog and Ashley Tisdale performing “Bop to the Top” (from High School Musical); Miss Piggy’s failing attempts to join Nick, Joe and Kevin for a musical number (posing as a long-lost Joanas Sister); Kermit and Gonzo join the cast of “The Suite Life” for a comedic skit; plus much more.
You won’t want to miss this all-new musical extravaganza, as a second “Studio DC” special featuring the Muppets is already planned to air on Disney Channel sometime fall. So be sure to re-mark your calendars, and prepare for this brand-new Muppet show. If you have Verizon Fios, then you can now watch parts of the Disney Channel Games for free on demand. There’s 3 parts of just meeting the players, including Nick, Joe and Kevin, another part showing how the players prepared for the games and the last one is the first part of the DC Games which will air on July 27th in five minute segments in between shows. It shows all 37 players arriving at the arena and getting divided into teams. It then shows the challenge where the teams have to build a chariot and race it to the finish line. It all ends with Miley Cyrus performing her new song Breakout. And it even shows a preview of the next week’s episode.

It has been reported on several Dallas, TX sites and even the news. The Jonas family might be calling Westlake in Dallas, Texas their new home! On Texas’ News 8 and they made a small announcement that the Jonas Brothers’ family reportedly had bought a $2.8 million house in Westlake (a gated area around Dallas). The story will be in the Dallas Morning News tomorrow (July 22). The link provided mentions how they hope this can even help Frankie with education. Check it out. The other is how they spent the day with the Jonas Brothers in Denver before their show at a ‘indoor amusement park’ with over 100 trampolines! Hey everyone!
Sorry we have not been able to write. It has been crazy busy for the last few days. We spent a few days in Northern California doing shows in San Jose, Sacramento, and San Francisco. All of the shows were amazing. During one of the shows we were attacked by bugs. There were bugs everywhere. In Sacramento the mayor proclaimed it Jonas Brothers Day! That was really cool. We did a special event for Radio Disney in Sacramento as well.
Last night we were on the first live broadcast of FNMTV (Friday Night MTV). We performed BURNIN’ UP. We had a great time. It was really hard to hear over all the screaming.
We also announced that we are the 1st act booked to perform on the MTV VMAs (Video Music Awards). How cool i s that?
Then we went to the Roxy in LA to show our support to Demi Lovato. She did an amazing job.
Later we went to the House of Blues and saw Rooney (from our WYLMITEs tour). Great to hear them again and hang out!

I am terribly sorry for the lack of updates. I’ve been busy, it’s been pure JONAS WEEK. I am currently in Nevada with my family and Kayla. The internet here is really slow, so I can’t update much. But expect tons of updates by the time I get home sometime Sunday. I will do a VLOG about meeting Nick Jonas and the JB boys. Also, I will be collecting together all my photos and videos from Concord, CA show and my videos from Mountain View, CA. I just wanted to say thank you to ALL THE FANS who donated money for Nick J Online: Change for the Children Charity Drive. We raised up to like around $150 dollars in the past two concerts (not a lot of people believed me or didn’t have cash, which was a bummer). However, to answer many people’s questions to my photo with Nick. I am just tiny (I am like 4’11″) so Nick looks huge next to little me! Haha. Can’t wait to tell you all the concert details and m&g details. Keep commenting the photos, on my personal myspace I added the new photo of me and miss Maya Kibbel (yes, she is a pure sweetheart, I adore that girl). When Miley’s latest “7 Things” hit, many of her fans assumed it was about ex-BF Nick Jonas. But only TWIST got the real deal!
While Nick was an inspiration, we’ve got proof that Miley’s venting about a few guys when she belts out the tune!
3.Guys who are too scared to show their feelings bugs Miley!
Which explains the “you’re insecure” line! In fact, Nick and Miley reportedly split ’cause Nick was too shy to go public with their love after Miley surprised him with a kiss onstage!
4.It’s hard to get over certain guys!
OK, so the “you make me laugh, you make me cry” line is about Nick, too. Since they were BFF before GF/BF, he knew her better than anybody! “We were always good friends and that’s what I love,” Miley told TWIST.

Which is what the “your games” line is about! She even gave up on her celeb crush, Pirates of the Caribbean’s Orlando Bloom, because of it! “Orlando is gorgeous,” Miley reportedly spills. “But he’s a little bit of a player!”
5.Cody Linley: Why can’t guys decide who they like?
When Miley sings, “You love me, you like her,” she’s been there! After Miley confessed her crush for Cody, he turned her down for his GF in Texas. When Miley got over it, Cody started showing her more interest.
6.Thomas Surges: Miley hates when guys act mean in front of buds!
She sings, “Your friends, they’re jerks, when you act like them, just know it hurts.” After pics of former crush Thoma Surges and his buds flirting with girls surfaced on the web, Miley was through with him.
