BURNIN’ UP TOUR HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN

Hey everyone!

We had so much fun doing our daily blog from Europe. We have decided to do it for this tour as well. We will try our best to write every day.

We are now in Toronto (a wonderful city). Yesterday we were guests on their big music video show/channel MUCHMUSIC. There were thousands of people there to greet us. It was amazing to see all of these people from Canada singing our songs and supporting us.

Last night was the 1st stop on the JB BURNIN’ UP TOUR. This was our first show in Toronto and it was rocking. There were over 16,000 people there. Demi Lovato, our friend from Camp Rock, went on first and the audience loved her.

We don’t want to give away any surprises but we go all out in this show. From the first note it appeared that the crowd was loving the show as much as we were loving bringing it to them. It was one of our best moments yet.

We can’t wait to see you in one of the other cities around the nation.

MERCHANDISE: At the July 4th concert last night they were selling merchandise including the D-Collection shirts but the prices of the burning up shirts were $40-$45 whereas on jonasbrothersmerch.com they are only $25. 7. BURNING UP TOUR: People started lining up for Lawn seats at about 9am, so if anyone else has lawn seats you should get there early.

The Jonas Brothers celebrate Independence Day by kicking off the North American leg of their “Burnin’ Up Tour” at the Molson Amphitheatre on Friday, July 4th, in Toronto, Canada.

Nick, Kevin and Joe’s Camp Rock costar Demi Lovato opened up the show for them. Demi’s BFF Selena Gomez arrived in Toronto with her yesterday.

As part of the “Burnin’ Up” tour, Demi will make her first in-person appearance at a Verizon Wireless in Dallas, Texas on July 9th @ 2:00 PM (5631 Lyndon B Johnson Fwy Suite # A). For more information, visit BandInABus.com.

After touring all over the country, what’s the one sight Miley still marvels over? Seeing her opening act, the Jonas Brothers, decked out in suits at dawn. “I couldn’t believe my eyes!” says Miley. “I’m like, ‘Dude, its 7am, I’m in my pajamas and you’re in freaking suit! Jonas Brothers in Netherlands
This week you see in Hitkrant the report of the day on which the Jonas Brothers were in the Netherlands, June 20. They came naturally to the support of Avril Lavigne to play, but did much more! During the afternoon they played for a handful of lucky Hitkrant and Radio 538-winners an acoustic mini-intervention in the Wisseloord studios in Hilversum. Shortly thereafter the brothers also answered some questions from the audience.

These were the questions that the boys and the answers provided by the questioners for their choice were!
Question: What is your favorite song to sing?
Joe: The song Goodbye And Goodnight, because that means a lot to us. But we especially like to actually hear our fans singing!

Question: Where you get the inspiration for your songs come from?
Nick: Especially from relationships that we have. If you miss someone very, lets you write beautiful texts. We all have a real passion for life itself. But we will of course also very much inspired by our fans.

Question: If you would do to American Idol, what should you shout assess juror?
Joe: Simon Cowell. That is just really honest and says what he believes. Sometimes that there are bone, but at least he is right or by sea.

Question: What you miss the most when you’re on tour?
Kevin: The cuisine of our mother! That may namely that very good – the best is what they make lasagna. We also missed, for example, the cushions of our own beds.

Question: How do you combine work and to go to school?
Nick: Kevin is already finished school! Joe almost. And I learn and study underway, as we are on tour, because we always have our teacher.

Question: If you had one wish, what would that be?
Joe: That I could fly. But I also had the gift to warm continuously, because flying through the air seems to me rather cold! I would then fly very fast, of course. Then I could always quickly fly back to the fans return, haha.

Question: Do you still funny nicknames?
Joe: I mentioned word ‘Danger’
Kevin: I am ‘K2′
Nick: And they call me ‘Mr. President’

Question: What do you like about the Netherlands?
Kevin: Your country is beautiful and amazing. And the girls living there are all so fun! ;-)

It’s just that I am barely going to be home this year because I’m on the cheer and dance team, on top of all my school work. And also, I am trying to pursue my acting career. I kind of gave up for about 3 months and I’m signing with an agent soon.

Kevin, Joe, and Nick join the cast of Gossip Girl as members of “Hollywood’s New Wave”, according to the August issue of Vanity Fair. Others in the issue include: Emma Roberts (niece of Julia), Amanda Seyfriend (star of Mamma Mia) and Kristen Stewart (Panic Room).

The Jonas Brothers were mobbed by fans as they stepped out of their hotel in Toronto on Monday, June 30.

June 30, 2008 (Sawf News) – The Jonas Brothers were mobbed by fans as they stepped out of their hotel in Toronto on Monday, June 30.

The sibling rockers are set to kick off the Burning Up Tour at Molson Amphitheatre in Toronto, Ontario, on July 4th 2008. The North American tour is aimed at promoting their third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, which is set to be released in the United States on August 12, 2008.

A Disney Digital 3D production crew will film the shows in Anaheim, CA on July 13 and 14, for a movie that will be released in theaters early next year.

The Disney Channel movie, Camp Rock, featuring the Jonas Brothers, which aired on The Disney Channel June 20, averaged 8.9 million viewers, doing better than High School Musical which debuted to 7.8 million viewers, but falling short of High School Musical 2 which was watched by 17.2 million viewers.

A sequel to Camp Rock will go into production in late spring or summer 2009, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

The brothers are also scheduled to star in a new Disney Channel’s series called J.O.N.A.S! (Junior Operatives Networking as Spies). The show will feature them as band members who dovetail as spies, and will include their youngest sibling, seven-year-old Frankie.

Nick Jonas, of the screaming hot pop-rock trio the Jonas Brothers, recently told Billboard.com about the band’s upcoming CD, A Little Bit Longer, which is due in stores Aug. 12. The disc follows the mega- successful Jonas Brothers from 2007, a long tour that came through the Dallas-Fort Worth area three times, and the recent, highly rated Camp Rock Disney Channel film.

“The writing of the record started when we were shooting Camp Rock up in Canada,” says the youngest Jonas sibling. “We had about 10 to 15 songs that we wanted to record, but we didn’t have any time that we could schedule in the studio. We met with our managers, and we said, ‘Where can we record these songs, because we’re going to be so busy?’ So what we did is they retrofitted a Gibson guitar bus to be a studio, and they brought it out and our producer John Fields started working on the road. We did that for about two weeks on the bus, and then we went into the studio for about a week after that for a couple last things, and then the record was done back in January.”
