They were also in town to unveil their wax figures at Madam Tussauds Wax Museum in Washington.
The brothers, who released their second album this summer, left their mark at the White House by signing their names on the wall of the swimming pool that used to be in the basement of the White House. Now for the real figures, the Jonas Brothers are going to be at the revealing of their wax figures tomorrow at the Madame Tussauds Wax Museum. The first lucky 50 fans who arrive there will get to check out the figures for the FIRST TIME. You will be able to go up to the figures after the unveil to take photos next to them or even pick up some Gibson equipment to pretend you are rocking out to them. Unless you’ve been hiding under a rock, don’t know any tweenagers, or are allergic to the sound of high-pitched teenage girl squealing, you’re well aware that the Jonas Brothers just dropped their third album, A Little Bit Longer. The squeaky clean trio from Wyckoff, New Jersey — Kevin, Joe, and Nick — are home-schooled Evangelical Christian sons of a pastor who have all pledged to abstain from premarital sex, as symbolized by their purity rings.
Oh, and they also don’t drink, do drugs, or smoke. Combine that with their smash albums, videos, upcoming Disney Channel series, a planned 3D concert movie, and starring roles in Camp Rock, and the bushy eye-browed siblings are living the high life of a seemingly unstoppable brotherly force of pop power, without the high part, of course.
We, of course, wish them well, but if history is any indication, that bond can just as easily lead to bloody lips and bruised egos. And so, we offer the Jonas Brothers a few examples from other family acts of how things can go right, or, so, so wrong…

The only problem with the new Jonas Brothers CD is that my twin sister and I are now completely in love with all of the Jonas Brothers. We tried so hard to not turn into crazy psychotic “I’m going to marry the Jonas Brothers” fans. I wouldn’t say we are crazy and psychotic about them and I won’t ever stalk them or any celebrity for that matter, but oh my God … I love them! And I hate them for making me love them. I am so ashamed of crushing on three celebrities at once.
And it’s all their new CD’s fault. The lyrics are so passionate and beautiful. My sister said, “You can see into their souls.” That’s a little cheesy, but the lyrics are just so beautiful, I just melt. All of the songs are written by one or more of the Jonas Brothers.
The boys major in pop and their CD gets an A+. A major success and it should be at the top. It was better than Miley’s Breakout. The songs include: “BB Good,” “Burnin’ Up,” “Shelf,” “One Man Show,” “Lovebug,” “Tonight,” “Can’t Have You,” “Video Girl,” “Pushin’ Me Away,” “Sorry,” “Got Me Going Crazy,” and “A Little Bit Longer.”…

The Jonas Brothers hit New York City yesterday again, to film new scenes for their 3-D movie on Friday after a full week in the Big Apple.
So far the film seems to be quite the costume party – on Thursday, middle brother Joe (who turned 19 today) was photographed in a ‘70s-style police uniform and today, Kevin and Nick were snapped in costume as a hot dog vendor and the driver of a horse-drawn carriage, respectively.
As usual, the ladies weren’t far away from the brothers Jonas – Kevin was joined in his scene by country sweetheart Taylor Swift, and Nick, nattily dressed in a grey blazer and matching top hat, was seen chauffeuring two unidentified women.
The Disney film will be the latest pairing of music and 3-D for the studio, which released multi-dimensional movie “Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus: Best of Both Worlds Concert Tour” earlier this year.

They say it’s like they’re at a party and someone has taken their photo in front of a green screen and put it on a mock-up of Rolling Stone, only it’s real.
Kevin Jonas says they owe their success to their fans, for talking about them online and coming to their shows. He says he’s happy to finally get new music into their hands so they can have it and hear it.

“I’m pumped!” Joe said in an interview Friday in New York with Radio Disney on-air personality Ernie D.
“Don’t worry,” adds his brother, Kevin, 20, “there were lots of helmets given.”

Club BSG: Okay guys, this has been an AMAZING year for you. Tell us some of the highlights!
Nick: For us, one of the highlights was the Rocking New Year’s Eve show. It was a great way to start this past year. So far, we’ve just had really amazing opportunities. We’d been on the Look Me in the Eyes Tour, and now we’re on the Burning Up Tour. It’s going really well and we’re very excited about the new record.
Club BSG: You guys just finished your Look Me in the Eyes tour a few months ago. Now, you’re on the road again with the Burning Up Tour—how crazy has it been to do one tour after another?
Joe: It was exciting for us being able to do our own tour again. We had a lot of ideas that we wanted to do on this tour, and we actually got to do all of them. We have an amazing team that was able to do seven things that have never been done before on stage—from pyros to lifts to everything. And, to be able to tour again and see all the fans from different cities… it’s always cool to come back and play the venues.
Club BSG: So, Are you ever surprised by how enthusiastic your fans are and how LOUD they scream?!
Nick: There are times when we’re, you know, shocked by how they’ll run alongside the bus—it’s this big, moving vehicle, and it could probably hurt them if they weren’t careful. I think for us, we love how enthusiastic, supportive, and excited they are.
Club BSG: What was life like for you before you gained massive fame? Do you miss your old life?
Kevin: We had an amazing journey and process to become who we are today, and we used to play venues all across the East Coast for 20, 30 people. So, to be able to play these venues and continue to travel and just do as much as we can to put it out there, do our best, and keep going is great. We’ve been performing for three-and-a-half years and finally to be where we are today and coming back for the kind of numbers that we’re playing for is incredible. We’re truly honored, and we owe it to the fans, because they’re the ones that were waiting and continuing and sticking with us all these years. It’s amazing.

Britney Spears will duke it out with the Jonas Brothers at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards.
Her “Piece of Me” video is up against the Jonas’ “Burnin’ Up” for Video of the Year.
They will face off against Chris Brown’s “Forever,” The Pussycat Dolls’ “When I Grow Up” and The Ting Tings’ “Shut Up and Let Me Go.”
Spears — who is also up for Best Pop Video and Best Female Video — has never won a “Moonman,” despite being nominated 17 times.
It is unclear if Spears will perform on the Sept. 7 show in Los Angeles, but she will be involved with the show in some capacity.

The teen stars haven’t acknowledged a relationship, but in separate magazine articles their stories of a first-date kiss are strikingly similar.
“While we were slow dancing, my crush and I had our first kiss,” Gomez, 16, tells Twist magazine in its September issue. “I said, ‘I don’t kiss on the first date.’ Then he said, “Well, I never really play by the rules.”
And Jonas, 15, tells Girl’s Life magazine in its June/July issue: “On one date, the girl said to me, ‘I don’t kiss on the first date.’ So I said, ‘I don’t follow the rules.’ Ooooh! It was so good!”
Gomez, the star of The Wizards of Waverly Place, and boy band heartthrob Jonas have not confirmed a relationship – though Miley Cyrus recently acknowledged she dated Jonas.
That doesn’t seem to faze Gomez, who gushes over her unnamed “crush” saying, “I’d never been treated that nicely. I ended up dating the guy for awhile.”

These heartthrobs du jour have the faces that launched a thousand COSMOgirl! collages, but the lads have also evolved into a pretty terrific little rock band with their third album, which would count as creditable from a combo of any age, much less one whose ostensible leader, Nick Jonas, is 15. A Little Bit Longer could be a significant generation-gap closer; it’s not difficult to imagine a scenario where Dad is demanding that Sissy put the Jonases back in the CD changer, right after he’s chucked less-deserving labelmate Jesse McCartney out the car window.

Late last month, “Hannah Montana” star Miley Cyrus released her first true solo album, Breakout. A week later, Nielsen SoundScan announced that the album had sold nearly 371,400 copies in its first week on sale, entering the Billboard Top 200 at #1 for the teen sensation’s second chart-topping debut.
These days, selling 371,400 records in a week is no small feat — but it now seems as though next week, three brothers from Wyckoff, New Jersey, will surpass that impressive number to score the first #1 debut of their young careers.
Billboard is reporting that, based on first-day sales, the Jonas Brothers’ A Little Bit Longer could sell as many as 725,000 copies during its first week of commercial release. If the brothers shift that many units, it means theirs will be the year’s third-biggest first-week seller, after Lil Wayne’s Tha Carter III (which sold more than a million copies) and Alicia Keys’ As I Am (which sold 742,400-plus).

During the boys’ whirlwind week in New York — which included a long stint on “TRL” — the group shot a scene for the as-yet-untitled film in Central Park. The guys have been all over town promoting their new album, A Little Bit Longer, which is widely expected to debut at #1 on next week’s Billboard albums chart. (On Tuesday night, the group performed before screaming fans at the downtown Apple Store.)
In the segment, the guys — dressed in their usual colorful garb: skinny jeans, bow ties and blazers — perform a tune on a grassy knoll on a sunny day in the park.

Following a special performance for more than 500 screaming tween and teen girls at Apple’s downtown Manhattan store on Tuesday night, the brothers — Kevin, 20, Joe, 18, and Nick, 15 — huddled in a stairwell, trying to find a quiet space to conduct an interview with The Associated Press.
Good luck with that.
Even as they spoke, their words were almost drowned out by deafening, doglike shrieks from girls still trying to find a way to get at their idols, who have set off a boy-band pop craze not seen since the lofty days of ‘N Sync and the Backstreet Boys.
“You kind of either just look around and laugh, or just, like, enjoy it,” Joe, the band’s lead singer, says of the frenzy. “We’re in awe. … It’s a whirlwind, and we’re happy to be on the ride.”
The fandemonium for the Jonas Brothers reached a fever pitch this week with the release of their third CD, “A Little Bit Longer.” The CD arrives just as the sibling trio finished a three-night, sold-out stint at Madison Square Garden, which was also the site of filming for their upcoming 3-D concert flick.
“We are just really living the dream right now,” Kevin said. “For us, having this album finally hit stores and having them sing the songs, knowing that they can actually hear them and have it in their possession is the most amazing thing for us. We’re so excited.”

It’s a JONAS WEEK at Teen Revolution USA blog. Yesterday they wrote about their new album and through out the rest of the week they will be writing about Change for the Children, their fashion and other things Jonas Brothers related. Recently the Jonas Brothers started an organization called Change for the Children Foundation. The boys created it as a way for kids to help kids that are less fortunate, sort of what we are trying to do. Their tag line is: “YOU decide, YOU donate.” This foundation allows you to decide what charity you would like to donate to. Kevin, Joe and Nick picked out five charities for you all to donate to. There is Nothing But Nets, a foundation that sends mosquito nets to Africa. American Diabetes Association which finds diabetes research. Saint Judes Children’s Research Hospital is also include and Children’s Hospital. The fifth foundation is Summer Stars Camp that provides a summer camp experience to poor children. The Jonas Brothers are matching the first $10,000 dollar donated.
D-Vision is another part of the foundation that was created by Nick. The goal for this part is to raise awareness for diabetes research. This especially hits close to home for Nick. He is helping this part out by singing “A Little Bit Longer” every night. He also created the D-Collection. It is a collection of merchandise items that you can purchase on the site http://www.changeforthechildren.org/store.php. Check out the rest of the site at changeforthechildren.org and to donate!

When tickets for this weekend’s Jonas Brothers concerts at Madison Square Garden went on sale, you could feel a great disturbance in the air—it was as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in a high-pitched plea for tickets to see this insanely popular, Disney-approved band. This Monday, we stopped by MSG to take in the scene (and, admittedly, because it’s a block from work)— surprisingly, in-between the army of neon T-shirts, elaborate posters and graffiti love notes, we found a number of guy fans and people of drinking age. It’s not exactly going to woo the McCarren Park Pool masses, but hey, the music is not so bad.

Comparing the Jonas Brothers third album with Miley Cyrus’ latest is inevitable, and instructive. Both acts are hot Disney properties with strong family involvement; both discs attempt guitar-pop trying to walk the difficult line between showing growth and becoming too grown-up, too fast. But where Cyrus’ effort failed, the three Jonases succeed, for the time-honored reason — they have better tunes.
The trio’s new wave-inspired songs may be derivative — and sometimes too derivative, as on the corny, Cars-lite opener, “B.B. Good”— but they simply sound fresher. Maybe Nick, Kevin and Joe — thanks, one suspects, to their parents — just have better taste in source material. Where Cyrus’ “Breakout” often sounds indebted to ” American Idol,” you can hear the influence of more intriguing acts like Cheap Trick and the B-52s (even Prince, if you’re feeling pretty generous) in the Brothers’ new tracks.
Yes, the snide put down “Video Girl” offers the first warning sign of cynicism about fame, and the title track — about Nick’s battle with diabetes — is the expected (though pretty good) Big Mature Ballad. The rest of this fun, fizzy pop, however, is the work of a reasonably maturing band that should be around longer than a little bit.

ALBUM: A LITTLE BIT LONGER (Hollywood Records)
You get the sense the Jonas Brothers can actually do the things they purport to do, like sing, play their instruments and even write music. That’s why it’s unfortunate that much of their sophomore effort is submerged in an ocean of heavy-handed production, so deep that the boys’ natural talents struggle to break the surface. But though there are epic keys, layers of acoustic and electric guitar and filtered synth zooms on nearly every track, the Jonases chomp on their 4/4 pop-rock like a veteran band. Young Nick sounds fresh out of the Justin Timberlake school of seduction on album opener “BB Good.” First single “Burnin’ Up” owes more than a little to Maroon 5; second single “Love Bug” goes from a campfire strum-along to a Steven Tyler rock wailer to power-punk in less than five minutes.
Woooooo! Eeeeeek! Kevvvvvvin! If this were a proper review of the new Jonas Brothers album, of course, it would be filled with nothing but the eardrum-piercing screams that are always drowning out the band’s music. That’s probably not a bad thing. If anyone actually heard the first few Beatles albums without the filter of a thousand hormonal teenage girls, they probably never would have been given the chance to make “Revolver.” The Jonas Brothers – Nick, 16; Joe, who turns 19 on Friday; and Kevin, 20 – might not be around that long, but with the hit made-for-TV movie “Camp Rock” and a sold-out amphitheater tour making them the choice pinup act for kindergarteners, there’s no doubt that this summer belongs to them. As an introduction to rock ‘n’ roll, the purity ring-wearing trio’s third album isn’t all that bad. Drawing on unexpected influences such as Elvis Costello and Fountains of Wayne, it’s dominated by ’80s-leaning power pop songs such as “BB Good,” “Shelf” and “Video Girl.” Front man Joe has a pleasantly raspy voice, and the band somehow manages to steer clear of syrupy ballads you might normally associate with a Disney-sanctioned act of Christian rockers. Well, for the most part, anyway. The title track details brother Nick’s struggle with diabetes in slow motion, complete with tears and an unintentional nod to Joni Mitchell with the line, “You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone.” Although they attempt to wrestle with other teenage traumas, the brothers are at their best on the brilliantly mindless single “Burnin’ Up.” Now if only the kids would shut up long enough to listen.

In case you were wondering whether the girls of America were voting for the Jonas Brothers only with their hearts and not their allowances, doubt no more. The boys’ third album, A Little Bit Longer, came out Tuesday, and based on projections being made from the first day of sales, it’s likely to have the third biggest opening week of the year. The group’s label is estimating that the album will come in with sales in the 675,000 to 725,000 range when final results are reported a week from now. Nielsen SoundScan partner Billboard magazine predicts that Longer “could surpass 600,000 and might start with as many as 725,000″ in its first week.
That would give the Jonas sibs a shot at beating the second biggest opening week so far this year, which belongs to Coldplay (721,000). Lil Wayne still tops on that list, with his million-selling first week unlikely to be topped any time in the near future.
The Jonas Brothers’ last album has sold just over 1.5 million so far. If Longer sells more than 700K out of the box, that means it’ll do almost half the total of the previous disc in a single week. Speaking of that last album, it’s selling like hotcakes—or hottie cakes. On the most recent chart, that catalog item moved up to No. 11, based purely, it would seem, on enthusiasm created by anticipation for the new release. Chances are very good that it will move into the top 10 in the week that includes debut sales for Longer. If that happens, it’ll mark the first time one act has had two albums in Billboard’s top ten since ‘N Sync did it in early 1999.
Longer could have legs, too, if very positive reviews from some of the nation’s non-tween critics are any indication. You can read EW’s critical endorsement here; Rolling Stone and Blender each gave Longer four stars.

Nick revealed the importance he places upon how a girl treats her family. “They have to be good to their moms,” said the 15-year-old former boyfriend of Miley Cyrus – now currently dating Selena Gomez.
In addition to their upcoming Disney Channel series, the brothers could soon be collaborating with Ben Stiller. “We met him just recently,” Joe told TRL. “We were talking with him about doing a movie.”

She won’t confirm rumors that she’s dating Nick Jonas, but Selena Gomez has no problem confirming her passion for the Jonas Brothers’ new album on YouTube.
The Wizards of Waverly Place star, 16 – alongside her co-star, David Henrie – created a YouTube video encouraging fans to buy the Jonas Brothers’ third studio album, A Little Bit Longer, which debuted on Tuesday.
“Guess what comes out today?” coos the singer in the clip. “The best album of 2008 – besides Demi Lovato’s that comes out in September – the Jonas Brothers!” (Lovato is Gomez’s best friend and also starred in Camp Rock with the fraternal trio.)
“If you already bought it, buy another one. And if you’ve already bought another one, get another one after that,” Gomez continues, while intermittently humming and singing the album’s first single, “Burning Up,” along with Henrie. The video then cuts to crew members from the Waverly Place set cheering as Gomez implores them to buy the album…

There is a fundraiser happening at the August 18th concert at Nissan Pavilion. It is a Pre-Party for JDRF. More information below from the email.
My name’s Katrina, and three other girls and I have been working for the past few months to try to organize a pre-party for the August 18th concert at Nissan Pavilion. The other three girls especially have worked hard to plan games and prizes, raffels, and even have a local band come out and play. The main purpose of the party is to be a big fundraiser for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. We have spoken with the Foundation, and they agree that it is a wonderful idea. Over 300 people so far have signed up to attend.
The venue, however, hasn’t been quite as keen to support this idea as the Foundation. We’ve repeatedly had trouble keeping correspondance in a timely manner. Meetings with the staff at Nissan so far have not resulted in a secure area on the premises in which to host the party.
Considering the ruralness of the area surrounding Nissan Pavilion, and the lack of businesses in Bristow, Virginia, we have only been able to come up with one back-up plan. This plan involves hosting the party at the nearby Sheraton Hotel. The plan actually is not so bad, considering everyone would get to be inside and the band would get to have a stage to perform on.
We have found though that this plan has one major downside… The cost to use the room at the Sheraton is $1000. With only a week left until the party, and no response from Nissan, we realize that we must indeed go with the back-up plan, and we must find this money fast. If we can’t pay for the room, then we can’t have the party, and all our planning will have gone to waste, and we won’t be able to raise the money we were planning to for JDRF.
This amount of money really isn’t huge considering the number of people signed up to go. If everyone signed up could pay just $5, that would more than cover the cost. However, we have been having considerable trouble tracking down everyone signed up to go. Also, understandably, many of the attendees signed up are young girls who don’t have an easy means or allowing parents in order to give us money before the party.
We have been making many posts on Team Jonas asking everyone going, or other fans who just want to support the cause, to please donate money by either mailing a check, transfering funds through Paypal, or delivering any amount of money personally if they happen to live near one of us. They can contact us about how to donate either by PMing us on Team Jonas (katieee, katrina, ms_hollywood, or steph12345), or by IMing us (katr15ina, xincompletex 09, jackiemister724, or aug18preparty). There is also more information at our myspace.
One thing that we would appreciate very much is if you could possibly make a post on your website talking about this pre-party and our need for donations. It would mean the world to us if you could help save our party from the disasterous but very real possibility of it being cancelled.

What The Jonas Brothers accomplish on their third album, “A Little Bit Longer” (Hollywood), is nearly impossible: Tweaking their songs enough to sound like upstanding pop-rock adults without losing the signature style that won them millions of Disney-loving fans in the first place.
So many teen heartthrobs have gotten the pop-star calculus wrong, moving too fast in one direction or not moving quickly enough. But Team Jonas gets everything just right on “A Little Bit Longer” and they manage it without relying on sappy ballads or trendy songwriting collaborators. Aside from the somber title track about Nick Jonas’ diabetes diagnosis, the album is essentially one long pure pop buzz.
The first single, “Burnin’ Up,” does Maroon 5′s faux-funk even better, with a better hook and a bouncier groove, while the latest single, “Tonight,” is sleek, adrenalized good-time pop in the Fall Out Boy vein. Both are already Top 10 hits and they’re not even the album’s best tracks, which means the New Jersey trio is looking at a blockbuster year.
Even more impressive, though, is the crafty “Love Bug,” which crosses the brothers’ sweet harmonies with a laid back Jack Johnson vibe before kicking into a massive guitar anthem ending…

Here is a basic run down of what it is:
On October 5th in Worcester, MA there will be a walk for juvenile diabetes awareness. I, Maria, have created a team called Nick’s Cause. The walk starts at Worcester State College at 10:30 AM, registration is at 9:30 but you can register online to make it easier. I plan on raising as much money as possible for diabetes because of Nick Jonas, my goal is 500 dollars. I need as many people as possible to join and walk for Nicholas in order to make my donation goal successful. This is fun way to raise money for our number one man, Nicholas Jonas.

THE JONAS BROTHERS’ youngest star NICK will bring his battle with diabetes to the small screen in an upcoming episode of the band’s reality show dedicated entirely to his struggle with the illness.
The 15-year-old pop singer was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in 2005 – prompting a nine-month stay in hospital in an attempt to stabilise his condition.
The Disney Channel series Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream will detail the daily routine of injections, tests and treatment Nick undergoes just to stay healthy.
The teen pop sensations were forced to stall a live performance last Saturday (02Aug08) when Nick fell ill onstage, prompting his brothers Kevin, 20 and Joe, 18, to distract fans and seek medical assistance.
The siblings’ dad, Kevin Sr., has also spoken out about the illness. In a recent issue of Rolling Stone magazine, he says: “I can’t tell you how frustrating it is to hear people belittle diabetes because it’s maintainable… Everybody on our team is on full alert, watching every move Nick makes on that stage every single night of his life.”
The episode is set to air in the U.S. on Friday (08Aug08).

The Jonas Brothers say fans often don’t believe they are related.
The ‘S.O.S.’ singers – brothers Kevin, 20, Joe, 18 and Nick, 15 – have revealed their fans continually ask whether they are actually from the same family after rumours surfaced claiming they are not related.
Kevin said: “People seriously ask us all the time, ‘Are you guys really brothers?’ ”
Joe added to Rolling Stone magazine: “It’s like, no, we named our band Jonas Brothers just for fun.”
The trio also spoke about their love lives, with Joe admitting he still finds it strange when he hears other celebrities are attracted to him.
He explained: “It’s funny when you find out there are other celebrities with crushes on you – like when I read that Lauren Conrad from ‘The Hills’ liked me.”
Nick – who previously admitted he was “honoured” when he was romantically linked to 27-year-old US socialite Kim Kardashian – revealed he is still “very close” to Miley Cyrus, who he was rumoured to be dating.
He said: “We were neighbours when we were on tour together. It was good. Just really close. But it would crack me up ? I would read these stories online, people saying things that were completely untrue.”

Pop sensations the Jonas Brothers are coming soon to a small screen near you: the musical trio has announced that they will star in their own TV show.
Brothers Joe, Nick and Kevin appeared on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show recently, and told him that they’ll appear in a sitcom in the style of Flight of the Conchords – the critically acclaimed comedy about New Zealand folk singers Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement, and their attempts to make it big in New York City.
The series will air on the Disney Channel, home to other mega-successful series including High School Musical and Hannah Montana, which stars the Brothers’ fellow musician Miley Cyrus.
“[The TV series is] actually gonna happen,” the Brothers told Seacrest. “September – in like seven weeks from whatever today is – we start production.”
In Flight of the Conchords, McKenzie and Clement frequently break into songs that mirror what is happening in their lives – presumably, the Jonas Brothers’ series would follow the same formula.
Earlier in 2008 the Jonas Brothers announced they would star in a spy-themed series titled J.O.N.A.S. (which stood for Junior Operatives Networking As Spies). That premise has now been scrapped.
