I (Kimmy), got the latest issue of Rolling Stones in the mail and under the “Correspondence“. It mentioned the other issue were the Jonas Brothers where on the cover. They also have them feature them in RANDOM NOTES on page 36 talking about storming up New York during the wee their new cd came out and on CHARTS page on 82. Below I typed up of the what it said for the mail section.

From here on the ground, the Paramount Studios lot looks like part world of warehouses, part junkyard, and part microcosm of American cities and landmarks. Fake Midtown Manhattan juts up next to not-Ukranian Village Chicago — that’s next to a fake hospital with no patients or doctors, which sits flush with studios, stages and sets the size of airplane hangers, where movies like Raiders of the Lost Ark, Top Gun, Mission Impossible, The Ten Commandments (heard of it?) and the Hitchcock classic, Rear Window were filmed.

Sitting down on stoops and steps can prove problematic on movie sets — what looks like concrete may be cardboard, and brick might actually be breakaway glass. For example, this “Brooklyn brownstone” looks a lot like the one I live in back in “real” New York. Except this brownstone is Brooklyn, New York, 90038, surrounded by palm trees, not pigeons. The “bricks” are made of paint and something that looks like professional-grade Contact paper, and the back of this not-brownstone is propped up by freshly cut wood two-by-fours, nuts, and bolts.

Unlike real brownstones, this get-up’s on wheels. And also unlike real Brooklyn brownstones, the Jonas Brothers will be performing live on this one this Sunday at the VMAs.

Also, unlike most brownstones, which fit maybe 100 people if you’re really pushing fire codes, the Jonas Brothers are somehow going to squeeze close to 1,000 rabid JB fans into this one. How are they going to pull that off? I’m no Hitchcock, so don’t ask me.

TAMPA, FL — The Jonas Brothers are performing Thursday at the Ford Amphitheater but ABC Action News was the only local TV station to hang with the guys before their concert.

Our cameras were there as Kevin, Joe and Nick spent the day at the Saddlebrook Resort in Wesley Chapel. They flew into Tampa early this morning.

The brothers took a tour of the fitness center then took a break to have some fun. They built boats using card board and duct tape. The guys then took the man made vessels to the pool for a race. Nick’s boat collapsed soon after getting in the pool, Joe’s boat stayed intact and he won.

After Thursday night’s show the Jonas Brothers head to West Palm Beach for the final concert of their “Burning Up” tour.

This weekend they will be in LA for the MTV Music Video Awards. The brothers are nominated for Best Video of the Year and Best Pop Video. The will also preform their brand new single. Kevin Jonas says you can expect a lot of surprises during the performance and it will be unlike anything they have done before.

After the awards show the Jonas Brothers will join Ellen for the first episode of her new season this Monday, September 8th.

We’ll also have more behind the scenes action from the Jonas Brothers day in Tampa Monday on ABC Action News at Five.

“Maybe one day I’d write a song and somebody would sing it and then no one would really know that I wrote it,” he said. “It would be kind of exciting, and I had heard that Prince did that, and it was just kind of a goal for me.”

1:23 p.m.: Saddlebrook has set up a team-building exercise for the Jo-Bros and their band, Sean now reports. Each brother leads a different team. They’re given two pieces of cardboard, duct tape and a Sharpie. With those, they have to build boats and “sail” across the pool. No hotel rooms and teenage vixens for these kids!

“Nick is a lot more resourceful. He’s built some sort of teepee, but I don’t know if it’ll float,” Sean says, in a hushed, serious tone more appropriate for a golf tournament than today’s weirdness.

“Kevin’s really having trouble with his makeshift canoe vessel. And Joe’s not making a very good boat. The young one is gonna triumph,” Sean concludes.

Sean goes up to Joe. “You’ve built a winner here,” Sean says, “but you need to reinforce the bottom.” Joe gives Sean a dirty look, sending our hero slinking away.

So how did it all end, you’re screaming, right?

“Nick’s teepee sank immediately. Kevin was like two feet from winning, and they sank, thus allowing Joe and the PoolMaster 5000 to win,” Sean is breathlessly relating. “They all really got into it. But the Joe fist-bump was the most important thing.”…

Rock For Help is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping those in serious need. The term “serious need” can be interpreted in many different ways in today’s society. To those involved with Rock For Help, “serious need” applies to those who need help to see a better tomorrow. “Serious need” applies to those who also want to help others see a better tomorrow. More specifically, this organization is dedicated to helping young people “rock out” and achieve their full potential by raising funds for several specific organizations/charities that recognize and support the foundation’s mission statement.

What does Rock For Help, the youth, and “rocking out” have in common? Two words: Jonas Brothers. The insanely popular group of brothers from New Jersey have not only achieved their dreams of becoming rock stars but also have given back to those who have the same vision and dream of achieving the impossible. Their charitable organization, “Change for the Children Foundation”, according to the organization’s website, helps, “to support programs that motivate and inspire children to face adversity with confidence, determination and a will to succeed.”. We at Rock For Help not only support this statement but also work to help these children by raising funds and donating said funds to several charities supported by the group’s organization. Miley Cyrus has denied that her song “7 Things” was inspired by one boy in particular.

But according to Brett Ratner, who directed the “7 Things” music video, it may be Nick Jonas who gave her his dirty socks.

As well as the telltale necklace she’s wearing in the music video.

“The necklace she’s wearing in the video is the necklace [the boy] gave her,” Ratner told MTV. “She’s wearing his diabetes or medical necklace.”

Tuesday may have been the first day of school for most Centre County students, but a party atmosphere at the Bryce Jordan Center helped to shake off the back-to-school blues as the Jonas Brothers rolled into town for a stop on their “Burning Up” tour.

The festivities began in the parking lot, where adoring fans lined up to sign the band’s tour bus, and continued inside the arena, where text messages from adoring fans of the teenage boy band were displayed on video screens.

Well before the first opening act took the stage, the screams from the crowd of mostly tween and teenage girls started and didn’t let up until the brothers’ final curtain call. Aussie band the Veronicas, fronted by two identical twin female lead singers, Jess and Lisa Origliasso, performed a short but energetic set of about a half dozen punk-lite pop songs reminiscent of Avril Lavigne…

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. — Six people are living in moving boxes in an attempt to win tickets to Friday’s sold-out Jonas Brothers concert in Fort Lauderdale.
The moving boxes are set up at Beach Place in Fort Lauderdale.
The contestants must stay in the boxes and can only leave them for five minutes every six hours in order to go to the bathroom.

The winner will receive a pair of front-row tickets and a meet-and-greet with the band.
If more than one person is living in the boxes by Friday morning, a raffle will decide the winner.

Some bands would kill to have fans who can sing along with all of their songs. The Jonas Brothers don’t have that problem.
In fact, last night at the Bryce Jordan Center, it would have been hard to find someone who didn’t know the words.
The Jonas Brothers, along with opening acts the Veronicas and Demi Lovato, could do no wrong in front of the crowd of adoring fans that packed the BJC for the University Park leg of the Burning Up Tour.
The Veronicas played a short set, followed by Lovato, a few of whose songs were surprisingly dark considering the bubblegum pop that dominated the rest of the night. When she asked the crowd, “How many of you out there have had your hearts broken?” she was met with thousands of preteen screams despite the unlikelihood of that possibility. Lovato came back onstage later in the show to perform with The Jonas Brothers, her co-stars from the Disney movie Camp Rock.
When the Brothers finally began their set, the entire arena was filled with piercing shrieks. The three rose up out of the stage on a moving platform that then lifted them high into the air before setting them down again. The terraced stage was a spectacle to behold, complete with an entire string section, massive LED screens and walls of fire…

Searching for a way to continue keep his celebrity from waning now that the Olympics Games have ended, Michael Phelps on Tuesday announced that he is joining the Jonas Brothers.

Phelps, who will be known as as Mike Jonas, is now the oldest Jonas. Insiders say that could help Kevin Jonas, who at 20 was previously the oldest, regain more boyish appeal with the groups’ younger fans, while also keeping Phelps in the spotlight.

“Let’s be honest, nobody really gives a sh*t about swimming except for two weeks every four years,” said Joe Simpson, who recently become Phelps’ manager. “Now that he’s a Jonas Brother, Americans will actually know who Mike is and pay attention to him for the next three years and 50 weeks.”

Just over a year ago, being part of a boy band was considered to be the dorkiest gig in pop.
Unless your name was Justin Timberlake, the mid-2000s was a cruel time for those who rode the boy-band boom of the late ’90s.
The Backstreet Boys and Hanson struggled to launch comebacks and found it hard to buck the lame-o stigma of having been a part of the dreaded preteen pop trend.
Jordan Knight, a former member of New Kids On The Block — whose late ’80s breakthrough set the template for the modern boy band — was a cast member on the humiliating reality series The Surreal Life, featuring washed-up celebs.
Members of *NSYNC wanted to reunite in 2006, but their dream was nixed by bandmate Timberlake who had made the rare transition to a successful solo career. When MTV asked him why he didn’t want to take part in a reunion, Timberlake’s dismissive reply was telling. “What we did doesn’t work now,” he said.
Even the latest bubble gum sensation The Jonas Brothers felt the hard times. In early 2007 they lost their deal with Columbia Records after their debut disc failed to sell 100,000 units.

Burning up is #2 on the most requested songs of the mexican radio station Alfa radio, BB Good was featured on a radio comercial, the burning up video was #5 at Los diez más pedidos yesterday, the JB will be hosting the special VMA weekend on MTV Latin america because of the VMA 2008 that will be aired the same day as in the States, today on Los diez más pedidos was aired the behind the scenes of the burning up video, tomorrow will be premiered the Disney Channel Games, on sunday will be aired “Jonas Brothers: Mexico City” and then Camp Rock.

Well JB’s last show here in West Plam Beach, FL is causing some competition a local radio station. Y100, has made up a name for the Jonas Brothers there now called the Homeless Brothers. It kind of became a issue and now when ever they metion that name on air they have to bleep it out! Howeve, so the radio station is having a contest and you must be homeless for a week, they have a location by the beach and all the rules are on www.y100.com and who ever wins gets front row seats and backstage passes (not to mention that there are 3 tropical storms heading that way).

KIMMY: Hey Everyone!
It’s Kimmy. I’m still in Las Vegas but I am going home today. It’s a 10 hour drive back home. I finally got ahold of some internet access but I can’t update. A lot of the updates might be coming late today because all my co-webs have started school now. But I want to say thanks for still staying tune. If we we forgot any news in the past few days make sure you visit our brother sites: Kevin Jonas Online and Joe-Jonas.com! I have heard from a few friends texting me that Nick Jonas and Inferno won the DC Games! Congratulations!!! Oh, and I had a chance to visit the EXACT Titanic Museum the Jonas Brothers went to (the one shown in Living The Dream) and before I entered the front desk where they check your tickets, they had a frame with the Jonas Brothers (with the band, Frankie, & Maya) together on the grand staircase. I didn’t get to take a photo of the photo because they would be like get mad. However, I did get snuck in some sweet shots (you weren’t allowed to have a camera or videocamera, so shh), so I was just as lucky as JB. If you want to hear more of that, I will be updating my myspace tonight or tomorrow when I get home with tons of pictures and more.

Hey everyone!

WOW what a summer! We have had an amazing time on tour in Europe and the US. We are coming to the end of the BURNIN’ UP tour. You have helped our dreams come true.

We have 3 more shows on the Burning Up Tour (tomorrow in State College, PA, Tampa FL, and West Palm Beach FL). We are also flying to Los Angeles this week to join Ellen on her season premieres. Then this weekend we are in Los Angeles again for MTV’s Video Music Awards, where we are nominated for Pop Music Video of the Year and VIDEO of the YEAR for BURNIN’ UP! Then next week we head for Europe for the premiere of CAMP ROCK in Europe. Thank you so much.

Cleo is in North Hollywood for a week and there were like 2 billboard posters of the Jonas Brothers behind Universal Studio, in front of Toluca Lake. 1 of the billboard was for the “A little Bit Longer album” and the other billboard says “The Jonas Brothers…Can’t Miss It” which was for Radio Disney.
