Help people with Diabetes including Nick, read below the email we received!
My name is Meg and I run Jonas Fashion, the only Jonas Brothers style website on the web. I’ve created a project called the “1 in 30 Project” which helps raise awareness for diabetes. I’ve decided to hold it in November because November is National Diabetes Month. The premises is this:
Participants give up 1 luxury item for 1 month (30 days). At the end of the month participants are able to give whatever he or she would have spent on that item throughout the month to a diabetes charity. For example, I, Meg, will be giving up buying candy at my school’s candy store. This equals $1 for every purchase or $30. At the end of the month I could donate that $30 to a diabetes charity of my choice.
Obviously participants are not required to donate anything to any charity or organization. Even if they cannot donate they can still participate. The whole project is about raising awareness for diabetes and seeing what it is like for a diabetic. When diabetics are first diagnosed they must alter their entire lifestyles and diets for their whole lives. By giving up a luxury item for 1 month we are able to (almost) understand what it is like for diabetics who must alter their lifestyles, if only for a month.

Not only are the Jonas Brothers busy giving concerts, but they’re also finishing up shooting episodes of a new Disney channel. It’s also been announced that the brothers will be appearing in their first feature film, Walter, the Farting Dog. But that’s not all.
“It has been a busy month. We got off tour and immediately went into production of our new DC show – JONAS. It is so exciting! We have completed 4-5 episodes already and they are going great. We can’t wait for you to see it. We are not sure when it will start airing but we are all really proud to work with the people in the show. We are also releasing a All Access Book from the Burning Up Tour. We picked out all the pictures and shared a lot of stuff that we hope touches our fans.

ZAC EFRON (“High School Musical 3″): This is his first appearance on my show! He brings out the 12-year-old girl in me like no one else. (Well, except Nick Jonas, but that goes without saying.) His girlfriend Vanessa Hudgens just told me some secrets about Zac, including the interesting way he sometimes eats his breakfast! I’m gonna quiz Zac on everything she said!
Plus, I go clubbing with PARIS HILTON! I show up a little early (apparently the cool kids don’t get to the clubs at 7:30), so Paris gives me a one-of-a-kind tour of her house before we leave!
I also have a HUGE surprise for my audience and 50 home viewers! (And I can’t remember if I mentioned it, but Cher is gonna be here next Monday!)

The Jonas Brothers are going to the big screen — but they’ll be sharing the spotlight with a dog!
The boys are teaming up with 20th Century Fox to make their first feature film titled ‘Walter the Farting Dog,’ Variety reports.
The comedy will have the brothers playing musicians whose family is asked to take care of a dog, Walter, that has severe flatulence.
The film is an adaptation of the books written by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray.

Another hot Disney Channel act is poised to make a bigscreen splash ó at 20th Century Fox.
Fox has locked the Jonas Brothers to make their feature starring debut in “Walter the Farting Dog.” Based on a bestselling series of books by William Kotzwinkle and Glenn Murray, the film is being adapted by Alec Sokolow and Joel Cohen into a family film that will revolve around Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas, as well as their younger brother Frankie.
Pic shoots next spring and is a potential directing project for Peter and Bobby Farrelly, whoíll produce with Bradley Thomas through the trioís Conundrum banner.
The Jonas Brothers have become wildly popular through the boy bandís appearances playing music and acting in such Disney Channel programming as the telepic “Camp Rock.” Frankie ó known as the bonus Jonas ó has also gained a profile appearing with his brothers.
The title character in the “Walter” books is a fat dog with severe flatulence. The brothers play musicians whose parents are asked to care for the dog by an aunt just before she passes away.
“By the time theyíve driven the dog home, everybodyís head is out the window of the family station wagon but Frankie, and only because he has a serious sinus problem and doesnít notice the stench coming from Walter,” said Peter Farrelly.
While his brothers play music, Frankie and the gaseous hound get involved in a plot that involves liberating a koi fish and thwarting jewel thieves.
The studio sees a potential franchise in “Walter,” and the scribes have been involved in hatching the franchises “Toy Story” and “Garfield.” They were also co-writers of the remake “Cheaper by the Dozen.”
Reelfxís Tom Kartsotis and Steve OíBrien will be exec producers.
The Jonas Brothers are repped by CAA and managed by Kevin Jonas and Phil Levine.

…What’s that sound? Oh, nothing, just the noise of a gazillion girly hearts racing to the tune of a release date for the cinematic event of 2009. Forget The Hannah Montana Movie. Ignore Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince. Stand back James Cameron’s much hyped 3D-a-rama Avatar. Here comes The Jonas Brothers 3D, a full-bodied concert movie which will unleash its teeny bopping fury on June 4. Unless you will be in Western Australia, because its getting the brotherly love on May 28. Expect WA’s adolescent female population to explode.
Few details have been released about the biggest music movie since The Beatles were lads (yeah, we are kinda joking), but Uncle Empire can reveal that 3D footage of the Jonas’ “Burning Up” concert tour will be included, as well as up-close-and-personal interviews with – and insights into – the Brothers off stage. We can’t guarantee bedroom shots, ladies, but at least you will be able to virtually reach out and caress the pop princes in digital 3D. Start counting the sleeps down…

“The Insider” was on the scene in L.A. Saturday as Denzel Washington and his wife Pauletta received the prestigious Brass Ring Award for their charity work at the Carousel of Hope Ball.
Other celebs to attend the gala — benefiting the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes — included the Jonas Brothers, Valerie Bertinelli, Nicole Richie, Nicky Hilton, Kelsey Grammer, Melanie Griffith, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin.
The Carousel of Hope has helped raise over $75 million dollars in funds for the juvenile diabetes epidemic. The funds are raised on behalf of the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes, a specialized care center for children and young adults in Denver, CO.

The property consists of a 4 bedroom main house and a separate 3 bedroom guest house, a large office space, and swimming pool. Property records indicate the house was recently sold for $5,950,000 to a corporation that does not appear to be linked to the Jonas Brothers so they may only be leasing the compound.

Did you hear? Nick Jonas is single! That’s right, teen girls everywhere — SINGLE!
We’re sure you’re asking yourself: What about that adorable Selena Gomez girl he was supposedly dating? Well, when E! News asked Nick over the weekend about his current relationship status, his response was simply: “Single.” In fact, for those who keep track of this sort of stuff like we do here at MTV News, it seems that all the guys are looking for love.
Joe has told reporters that he’s single, which was expected given the fact that he recently broke up with Taylor Swift. And although eldest brother Kevin’s answer was a bit more complicated (and it led us to wonder about the girl he was recently seen kissing around town), the sentiment was the same: “Always dating, but in the end, single, yeah.”
In many ways, the reported breakup of 16-year-old Nick and 15-year-old Selena isn’t that surprising, considering all the single talk that Selena has been doing on her own as of late. As early as two weeks ago, the writing was on the wall when Selena was talking about her crush, Shia LaBeouf, and passed along the message: “Let Shia know I’m available!”
Then last week, she told Us Weekly, “Anyone would be really lucky to be dating Nick. And anyone would be lucky to be dating any of them.” She added: “I’m not that lucky. I’m not dating [Nick].”
So, with a heavy heart, we’re reporting that another great Disney pair are no longer together. Nick and Selena: You will be missed.

Revenge is sweet – and painful! For all, when a broken heart will come. That is what I came to feel Nick (16) of the Jonas Brothers for his ex Miley (15). In her song “7 Things” she complied with the accounts of wavy hair, because the term with her!
To remember: Miley and Nick were a couple for two years – kept strictly secret at that time his love. But then suddenly everything came to light when Miley gave Nick in February in a public presentation on the stage, a kiss on the mouth. That was too much for the youth aged 16 – he did not want their fans and their parents learn something from their relationship. The severe consequence: their separation!
Miley was unable to withstand this step until now, as always often manifests itself negatively about her former boyfriend. “I want to repent,” she says liberally. Although insurance is not it also fell easy separation, has not ever spoken of Miley.

Nick Jonas always gets emotional when her performs A Little Bit Longer, but during Saturday night’s performance at the Carousel of Hope Ball he had to fight back tears.
The song, which the 16-year-old member of the Jonas Brothers wrote, addresses his personal struggle with diabetes, a disease he was diagnosed with three years ago. “On the day that I got diagnosed, I heard about this event,” Jonas said of the ball, which benefits the Barbara Davis Center for Childhood Diabetes. “And I knew it was something that I wanted to be a part of. To be here tonight to perform is a dream come true for us and for me, it’s truly an honor.”
The diagnosis changed the family, said brother Kevin, 20.
“It was hard for all of us. When it first happened we were sitting in our house and we didn’t understand what diabetes was. So immediately we went to Wikipedia and searched it online to understand what diabetes meant. Once we understood that he was going to be OK, we were way more comforted and immediately wanted to go see him,” he said. “He’s doing really well with it and there’s times when we have to be there for each other and with Nick’s diabetes there are times that you can’t control it. And we just have to be there.”
The event brought out many celebrities, including Melanie Griffith, Quincy Jones, Clive Davis, Kenny (Babyface) Edmonds, Sidney Poitier, Virginia Madsen, Cookie and Magic Johnson, Joan Collins, Garcelle Beauvais Nilon, Lisa Rinna and Harry Hamlin, Nicole Richie and Joel Madden.
Nick Jonas was BEST MAN is his Uncle Josh’s wedding last month. Kevin & Joe were groomsmen. Frankie was ring bearer and Papa J married the couple. And of course, the boys performed!

The Jonas Brothers have a big November planned. They’ll be performing at four shows during the month. Their first appearance will be on November 4th at 4:00pm as part of the Kristy Yamaguchi and Friends show. The Jonas Brothers’ 3rd album, A Little Bit Longer, has gone platinum this week! The album took just 10 weeks to top the million mark. Their 2nd album, Jonas Brothers, took 29 weeks to reach the milestone. As of this week, Jonas Brothers has sold 1,637,000 copies. “Burnin’ Up,” the biggest hit from A Little Bit Longer, has sold 1,210,000 downloads. That’s more than “S.O.S.,” the biggest hit from Jonas Brothers, which has sold 1,180,000 downloads.

The Jonas Brothers premiered their new music video for “Lovebug” last night on the Disney Channel, and it’s everything we’ve come to expect from them—adorable, magical and overly cheesy enough to push it into the “aw, these boys are too cute” category.
The video is set in the ’40s and follows a couple as they fall in love and separate during the war, but it’s hard to pay attention to the thin premise when the boys are killing it in their retro getups. The Notebook plus the JoBros really is the perfect recipe for some swooning.
Check it out, let us know if you agree that the boys should ditch their skinny pants for some classic ’40s threads. Also, does anyone else see some Sylar from Heroes in Joe Jonas with those glasses, caterpillar eyebrows and slicked-back hair?

As everybody knows, when the Jonas Brothers went to Italy, the Italian fans had a big party for them and…Guess what!? It worked out! The JoBros went to that party! Some Brazilian girls had the idea to organize a similar party in Brazil. The girls are doing everything to find sponsorship and publicity. The famous TV channel, Mutishow, has said the girls could go live on the channel, but the representative would have to talk to the committee first. We are waiting for the answer. If we can achieve many members, we’ll have more people to ask for publicity in magazines, TV channels and websites. More publicity, more chances to succeed in the sponsorship.

From Nick J Online – SIGHTINGS Sunday, October 19th was a busy Jonas day! Besides the release of the new Jonas Brothers’ music video, “Lovebug“. It was the start of the Jonas family moving day. Also, oldest brother, Kevin Jonas spend a few hours while the moving vans were picking up boxes to spend with girlfriend, Danielle at Point Mugu. Which, I might add was extremely cute and I support those two lovebugs.<3 The Jonas family is going to start moving all their stuff to their new home in Texas where mainly Mr. and Mrs. Jonas and youngest brother, Frankie Jonas will be staying since he will be attending school in Texas as well. The Jonas Brothers will be still spending some time in Los Angeles to finish up the first season of JONAS. There is no word that we know of that if the Jonas family are selling for good their home in Los Angeles, CA.

The 2009 Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo runs Tuesday, March 3, through Sunday, March 22. The complete 2009 lineup will be released in January 2009.

Star magazine takes a look at Joe Jonas incognito and undercover. The magazine has a report that notes, “Pop star Joe Jonas is known as the one brother with straight hair. An easy way for him to go incognito? Lay off of the flatiron for a day! During a lunch at Mel’s Drive-In in Hollywood in late September, a fan says. “Hardly anyone recognized him, because his hair was naturally curly!”
But don’t look for him to go off of the straight and narrow anytime soon. The witness says, “Joe was obviously uncomfortable about the way he looked.” He kept going back and forth to the men’s room to wet down his hair, and dripped all over the table when he came back to eat!

KIMMY: I am attending a JDRF diabetes walk in San Francisco in support of kids with diabetes and Nick Jonas.

KIMMY: I just got to the computer right now I updated some updates then the rest of the updates will show up for tomorrow, Sunday October 19th! Thanks for all the girls who came out and supported the “Team Super Awesome” today at the JDRF Walk! We still have a few t-shirts left from the event where it’s has JB’s photo and says Team Super Awesome. If we are selling them, I will post more information about it. The money when buying the shirts will go towards my friends and I’s benefit cause concert we are planning next year towards good causes from: Invisible Children, St. Jude, breast cancer, diabetes, and much more!

So far, the band has opened for a range of US acts including Cobra Starship and Good Charlotte.
“Good Charlotte I look up to in so many ways,” says Cyrus.
One act he is down on, however, is the Jonas Brothers. Sister Miley took the famously virginal brothers on tour and encouraged her label, Hollywood Records, to sign them. The boys recently landed the cover of Rolling Stone in the US and hit No.1 on the Billboard charts.
“I’m glad Metro Station didn’t turn out like Jonas Brothers,” he says. “They need a Disney movie to become famous. Our songs overpower that.” He recalls meeting the band when they were dropped from Columbia Records.
