The Jonas Brothers have a new section to their Change for the Children website. They took down the promotional video on the homepage to announce their new “text program“. This allows you to receive text updates about the charity and also volunteer work in your community that help raise money for charities and as well help the Jonas Brothers’ foundation. On February 12th, the Jonas Brothers will help unveil their wax figures at Madame Tussauds in Times Square in New York! The first 75 fans to arrive on the day of the unveiling will have the chance to see the Jonas Brothers and be some of the first to see and pose with their wax figures.

“Jemison Middle gets ready to help Relay for Life”

Jemison Middle School will begin their annual fundraising efforts benefiting the American Cancer Society and Relay for Life beginning this month, and fundraisers will continue through April.
Monday, Feb. 2, kicks off two events. The first is a competition between homerooms to see who can build the longest chain by selling paper links for 50 cents each. These links can be personalized in honor of or in memory of someone or can have the buyers name on it.
This fundraiser will run through Feb. 27. All homeroom chains will be joined together and our goal is to build a chain long enough to encircle the school’s campus. The chain links can be purchased from each homeroom teacher.
Also beginning Monday, JMS will be selling chances to win some autographed Jonas Brothers items. For $1, you can buy a chance to win an autographed picture of the group. For $2, you can buy a chance on an autographed copy of “Burning Up: On Tour with the Jonas Brothers.”…
Several years ago, the school began these efforts in honor of our principal, Neal Clements. Even though Mr. Clements has since retired, the school still does this for him and everyone in our community who has been affected whether directly or indirectly by cancer. Relay for Life 2009 will be held on April 24 at the youth football field in Clanton.
The school will gladly accept any donations on behalf of their Relay for Life team and the American Cancer Society.

Miami, FL (CNS) – Demi Lovato, the sunny Disney star who co-starred in the hit TV movie “Camp Rock”, announced that she’ll be re-releasing her album, ‘Don’t Forget”, as a new deluxe edition in February. “Don’t Forget”, released last September, has yielded two Radio Disney hits so far, the first single “Get Back” and it’s follow-up “La La Land.”
According to the singer, the new edition features a brand new song, “Behind Enemy Lines”, and plenty more. “There’s like crazy new pictures, lots of bonus footage, clips of me and the Jonas Brothers behind-the-scenes on tour and in the studio,” she said.
Lovato’s been on the morning show circuit promoting her new Disney Channel show, “Sonny With A Chance.” The new sitcom, starring Lovato as Sonny, premieres on the Disney Channel on February 8th. The deluxe edition of “Don’t Forget” will be released in February.
Lovato will also be featured in the “Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience”, which hits theaters February 27th. The soundtrack, which will feature a live cut from Lovato, the Jonas Brothers, and Taylor Swift, will be released to stores February 24th.

ET was with the Jonas Brothers at an invitation only event Thursday night in Los Angeles, where the trio signed autographs for a group of fans — and it was all for a good cause!
The brothers took part in the event that benefits the Diabetes Center at Childrens Hospital Los Angeles.
Nick Jonas who is very outspoken about his own experience with the disease explains why it is important to him to raise awareness and help others.
“I think just being able to support the cause and raise awareness and just do what we can to get people inspired who have diabetes and who want to do great things for people who do have diabetes,” Nick says. “I think it’s something very personal to me and close to my heart, so we”e happy to do it.”
Elisabeth Hasselbeck is pregnant again. She thought she was suffering election nausea, but no, Child No. 3 is on the way.
And Barbara Walters announced her guest list for her Oscar special at 7 p.m. Feb. 22 on ABC. Because it’s so early, Babs has lined up Jonas Brothers (pictured).

If Jonas fans can’t wait to see the boys’ new Disney Channel show Jonas, Nick Jonas is here with a little preview. Coming this May, the show casts the boys as a rock band dealing with fanfare in their high school lives. But these brothers are names Nick, Kevin and Joe Lucas, so it’s completely different.

“There’s an episode, episode 104, called ‘The Wrong Song,’ which is an episode about a girl who is also an artist, and I kind of have this romance going on,” Kevin said. “I don’t know that she has a show coming up where she thinks that the song that I wrote for her, as in wrote because of her, is not actually for her to sing at her show. There were a couple fun and challenging scenes in that one and I really, really like that episode a lot.”
The singer-songwriters have also found that having scripts to inspire music is a lot easier on their emotions. “Writing songs for the show has been a really cool experience because they’ll give us kind of like an outline of what they need for the episode. We’ve been making the joke constantly, it’s like, ‘Now we don’t have to get our hearts broken to write a song about heartbreak.’ It’s a lot easier way to do it.”
Performing on stage is one thing, but the Jonases are still relatively new actors. They only have Camp Rock under their belts previously. Nick admits to having the hardest time adjusting to camera performing.
I (Kimmy) was watching Chelsea Lately last night and they were doing an interview with “Big Black” from ‘Rob and Big‘, and she asked if he bodyguards for the Jonas Brothers. He mentions how he doesn’t but been been mistaken in Texas during the week of the Thanksgiving’s Dallas Cowboy Game and someone thought he was “Big Rob” because they saw the half-time performance. He also mentioned, if the boys ever need another bodyguard, he would love to be one.

“Disney Channel U.K. Looking for New Talent”

LONDON: Disney Channel U.K. has comissioned Unique TV to produce a new TV talent contest to find the next generation of young British music stars.
My Camp Rock is inspired by the theme of Disney Channel’s original Camp Rock movie, and will air as four weekly Friday night shows, culminating in a live finale. Disney Channel is currently scouting the U.K. for eight talented kids between the ages of 8 and 16 to take part in the series. The winning band or solo artist will have the chance to produce their own cover version of a Camp Rock track, along with a music video, which will be broadcast on the channel.
Unique TV will follow the eight chosen hopefuls at a televised Camp Rock-style bootcamp, where they will practice their vocals, choreography and performance training with the guidance of leading experts. A panel of judges will select four finalists to go head to head in a “Final Jam” and viewers will decide on the ultimate winner. Unique TV has appointed Mandy Morris as series producer. Morris has worked on several reality-based TV series, including Help! Teach is Coming to Stay and Leave Us Kids Alone for the BBC and Channel 4’s Big Brother. Mike Brosnan will be executive producer…

The Jonas Brothers are a leeeeetle busy with a LOT of stuff — they’re filming their upcoming show, J.O.N.A.S., they just launched their Fan Family Experience, they’ve got the U.S. premiere of their 3D movie in February, the Latin American and worldwide premieres, a VERY likely Saturday Night Live appearance on Valentine’s Day, the Grammys, and, um even a Neil Diamond tribute!
I mean, they are known as the hardest working guys in the business, but seriously, how the HULL could they possibly find time to Twitter? If this even IS the Jonas Brothers’ Twitter?
