Pierrepont Finch (played by Nick Jonas), who begins a meteoric rise from the mail room to Vice President of Advertising at the World-Wide Wicket Company. Jan 23 2009 5:41 PM EST Kevin Jonas Talks About Being The ‘Prize’ For Obama Girls’ Scavenger Hunt
He also discusses the Jonas Brothers’ purity rings, Taylor Swift during radio interview.
By Jocelyn Vena
It seems that this week was a perfect one for teen stars everywhere to bury their feuds. On Thursday, Miley Cyrus insisted that she’s friends with Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez and “loves” former boyfriend Nick Jonas.
So on Friday morning (January 23), Kevin Jonas, the Jonas Brothers’ elder statesman, assured fans everywhere that the guys are on great terms with Joe Jonas’ ex, Taylor Swift.
“We are all friends with Taylor,” he told Channel 955 in Detroit. “We always have been friends with Taylor. She’s a great girl, and she’s an incredible musician. One of the coolest things is that Taylor, she’s in ['Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience']. We performed along with her, and it’s great. It’s a lot of fun.”
With that settled, Kevin opened up about Tuesday night’s White House scavenger hunt, during which Sasha and Malia Obama were serenaded by the guys. “We were there waiting for them as the prize at the end of the hunt,” he said. “So when they came to their final room and opened up the door, we were there, waiting to play a couple of songs specifically for them. And we got to hang out with them.”
He added that although the band has been to the White House before, the coolness factor never really fades. “It is a whole other level of excitement,” he said. “I have been in [the Oval Office]. I’d want it for my office.”
The conversation took a turn for the awkward when 21-year-old Kevin was asked if he’s ever bought alcohol for his teen brothers. “No, they don’t do that. I don’t think I would ever do anything like that,” he said. “I guess you’re just more aware of your lifestyle. For me, we’re too busy to do anything [like that].”
Tension was definitely still in the air when the subject of the guys’ purity rings came up. “We believe in something, and that’s pretty much that, and we’ve talked about it enough,” he said. “We try to be the guys our parents raised us to be.”
On MuchOnDemand on MuchMusic today, the JB fans succeeded in getting the “Tonight” music video to the #1 spot. The host introduced the video, and it said on the screen “Tonight” by the Jonas Brothers…. but they played Lovebug. Haha. Somebody screwed up there! [From C.E.M]
Kevin Jonas called into Channel 955 in Detroit early Friday morning (January 23) to dish about his younger brothers, the Obama girls, and country singer pal Taylor Swift. Check it:
On the funniest rumor he’s heard about himself: “Oh, that I was a Pakistani woman. I was like, ‘Wow, that’s interesting.’”
On Nashville’s country princess, Taylor Swift: “We are all friends with Taylor, we always have been friends with Taylor. She’s a great girl.”
On his upcoming flick, Jonas Brothers: 3D Concert Experience: “One of the coolest things about this thing is that Taylor, she’s in the movie. We performed along with her and it’s great. It’s a lot of fun.”
On the White House scavenger hunt: “We’ve been a couple of times now, under different administrations. Every time you go, you learn something brand new. It’s really neat. We [Jonas Brothers] were there at the end of the hunt, waiting for them for the prize at the end. So when they came to their final room and opened up the door, we were there, waiting to play a couple of songs specifically for them.”
On which brother annoys him the most: “Well, for me, none of them really annoy me. There is Frankie who wants to run into the room and jump on you to wake you up [in the morning]. That is not the most exciting thing in the world.”
The Jonas Brothers have yet another music video being released. The next music video will be for their upcoming new single off “A Little Bit Longer”, BB Good! The video will debut at around 8:20pm (local time) on Disney Channel’s “Night of Stars” on February 16, 2009! It features scenes from the 3D movie, so this music video as well won’t have a story concept. [From Jonas HQ, JBFan.org]

“There are talks with Disney of the boys doing ANOTHER 3D Movie for their World Tour. I think that this would actually be cooler than the Burning Up Tour because it would show all around the world. If the ratings and ticket sales of this 3D Movie sky rocket, Disney may be in talks with the boys for a 3D Movie sequel.” [From JonasHQ]

Shooting will begin by end of the year, star says.
It looks like the “Camp Rock” sequel is finally underway. The film’s female star, Demi Lovato, confirmed to MTV News that the follow-up to the hit Disney movie will begin shooting later this year.
“There’s a ‘Camp Rock’ sequel,” she told MTV News just moments after getting off the stage at Monday’s “Kids’ Inaugural,” where she performed with her “Camp Rock” co-stars the Jonas Brothers. “We’re going to be shooting it at the end of the next year. Actually this year, woo! So, we’ll be shooting it late 2009 and hopefully I’ll be shooting it after I do a tour.”
In addition to Nick, Kevin and Joe, littlest JoBro Frankie Jonas is also rumored to be joining the cast. But when the guys talked about the film last summer, they had a few other ideas in mind for what they wanted to see happen in the sequel.
“Maybe [there could be], like, a rival camp,” Joe pondered, adding that someone in the Jonas camp had a very tropical idea for a possible location: “Camp Hawaii!”
When they talked about the film with EW.com last summer, Joe admitted that he was blindsided by the success of the first “Camp Rock,” which reportedly scored nearly 9 million viewers when it aired in June. Joe, who had a lead role in the film, said, “We’ve been looking into scheduling when we can do that because we’ve been busy with touring, but we would love to. The success from the first one — we did not expect that at all, and the possibility of a second movie would be great.”
‘We’re just honored to have the opportunity to try the acting thing,’ Nick Jonas says of Disney Channel show.
The Jonas Brothers are ready to start burnin’ up your TV sets when their new TV show, “J.O.N.A.S.,” debuts on the Disney Channel later this year. In the sitcom, the boys try to balance their lives between being pop stars and regular guys.
“It’s very exciting for us. It’s been in the works for a while,” Nick told “Access Hollywood.” “It is now about us being a band and balancing a normal life. They give us freedom to add our humor in it. We’re just honored to have the opportunity to try the acting thing. We’re musicians. … Acting is a new thing for us.”
And although the boys have a sense of humor, they admit that taking their act to the small screen hasn’t been all that easy.
“I’m very hard on myself when it comes to acting,” Nick said. “Trying to capture my own personal sense of humor, in real life, it’s very dry humor. But sometimes I can’t quite master that on camera.”
Joe mirrored his younger brother’s skepticism about their comedic styling, saying, “We’re trying our best, and we’ll see the outcome. We really enjoy it … but this gives us the opportunity to keep the music involved.”
The boys will also be taking their act to a theater near you next month when they release “Jonas Brothers: The 3-D Concert Experience,” which they say will give fans a good idea of what it’s like to be a Jonas Brother.
“It gets some really personal things in there,” Nick said of the movie. “There’s one scene in particular where it captures all the things that we went through in Times Square in New York City on our album-release night, which was one of the craziest scenes. I think it’s the only footage in the world of it.”
The guys may have a lot on their plate with a TV show set to premiere and a movie about to be released, but Kevin revealed that the guys might have one more project in the works.
“We have an amazing stylist. … She’s worked with us for almost two years, and we’ve really built a look together,” he said. “It translates to the show as well, but more than that, we are just really happy that we have a certain kind of clothes that we like. We like what we like. You never know, we might be working on our own clothing line here and there. We really like that whole aspect.”
The Jonas Brothers should be in New York the week, Honor Society will be during their Valentine’s Day Weekend show due to the Jonas Brothers are rumored to be appearing on Saturday Night Live (On Valentine’s Day) and Live with Regis and Kelly. When we get more information, we will post it, so please don’t email us asking when unless you know details.

“the jonas brothers take the white house”
by naomi nevitt january 21, 2009
Talk about a lucky day! We heard that Sasha and Malia Obama received a surprise visit from the Jonas Brothers yesterday night while they were settling into life in the White House. We don’t know the details of whether the JoBros busted out into song or if they where just there for a quick meet-and-greet, but we can’t help but wonder… If you could be privately serenaded by the trio, what song would you request them to sing? Post your answer here.
ARGENTINA: The release date of the 3D movie in Argentina is on April 30th. We have contacted Universal Music, which distributes the Jonas Brothers’ CD’s here in Argentina. [From Carolina]

“Miley Cyrus And Nick Jonas Reunite — Thanks To The Obamas!”
Published by Jocelyn Vena on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at 11:31 am.
Dear First Family:
First off, congrats! This is truly a historic occasion. We wish you all the best as you embark on this challenging and exciting time in American history. I’m sure it will be interesting for all of us as Americans.
But next, we have to thank you for giving us an equally historic occasion: a Miley Cyrus and Nick Jonas reunion hug caught on tape! That’s right. You, our country’s new first family, have brought together the former king and queen of Disney.
It’s hard to describe how overwhelming it is to see two adorable teens, who once shared a puppy love so deep that it caused Miley to highlight her hair for Nick. But footage has emerged from Monday night’s “Kids’ Inaugural: We Are the Future,” showing Nick hugging performers and fans who were on-stage at the end of the show as the guys finished up their performance of “Burnin’ Up.”
You can hear the fan who taped the encounter say to herself “awkward!” as Nick gets to Miley: Will he hug her, or won’t he? With baited breath and what can only be described as feeling this might be really awkward, the two former lovebirds shared a hug.
So, we as proud Americans, thank you for making something like this happen.
Miley Cyrus uploads a new video tonight for Miley World. She talks about a lot of stuff but most important thing, she mentions how she doesn’t have beef with Demi Lovato (She’s suppose to be hanging with her tonight for Meatloaf Wednesday at the Lovato-DeLaGarza Household), Selena Gomez, and the Jonas Brothers. She said she’s good friends with all of them. She says, “I love the Jonas Brothers, I love Nicky, I do love him, and Kevin, and Joe. I love Frankie. I love all the boys and their family!”. That’s cute and we are happy all the Niley drama is finally over with. You can watch it below, if you want to hear her already talk about what I said, Fast Forward to 6:18 and keep watching from them.

RUMORED SPOTTING: Joe Jonas was spotted eating at Disneyland with Camilla Belle today apparently. But we don’t have photos, so we don’t know! [From Samantha]
ABC News has learned that after their scavenger hunt last night, First Tweens Malia and Sasha Obama were paid a surprise White House visit by the Jonas Brothers.
The visit came after Malia, Sasha, and some of their friends from their new school Sidwell Friends saw two new Disney movies — High School Musical 3 and Bolt — and participated in a scavenger hunt in which they ran around their new home, learning about this history of the White House. White House ushers had organized a similar scavenger hunt for a young Chelsea Clinton when she first moved into the White House in 1993.
At the end of Malia and Sasha’s scavenger late-night hunt, they opened a door to discover their favorite musical performers: Kevin, Joe, and Nick Jonas — the pop boy band sensation who first exploded on the Disney Channel and also appeared earlier this week at the Kids’ Inaugural Concert.
“JONAS BROTHERS FANS: ARE YOU PRO-BAMA OR NO-BAMA?”
Published by Tamar Anitai on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at 12:21 pm.
…Okay, so we all know Kevin and Joe Jonas registered to vote in the 2008 election and that when it comes to politics, the boys don’t claim allegiance to one party but instead (wisely!) encourage everyone to embrace their own beliefs. And we all know that Nick will hopefully run for president in 2028.
So it was interesting to see how many of you commented here and at Just Jared Jr., expressing sentiments along the lines of “Yay, Jonas Brothers, boo Obama.”
But, Jonas Brothers fans, let’s put the JBs aside for a second, as difficult as that may be. What do YOU think of President (because he’s PRESIDENT now!) Obama? Are you you Pro-Bama, or No-Bama? And why?…
We mentioned this before, but now the Camp Rock Murals and Sticker Decals are now available to buy through PBTEEN.com. There are ones from the logos to images of Demi Lovato and the Jonas Brothers. You can view them by clicking the links below. [From Erin]
