“Interview with The Jonas Brothers: Becoming Teen Rock Idols”
By Alun Palmer on May 29, 09 12:00 AM in Film
They are the hottest young lads on the planet – well, to teenage girls anyway – and today sees the release of their second movie, The 3D Concert Experience.
But for the Jonas Brothers – Kevin, 21, Joe, 19, and Nick, 16 – it could have all turned out quite differently.
The musical siblings from New Jersey were dropped by their record label after their first album It’s About Time bombed, and Kevin admits it was a big blow.
“It was a tough moment but it all worked out,” he says.
Luckily, they were picked up and scrubbed down by Disney to join a family-friendly stable of stars headed by Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus, and they haven’t looked back since.
The boys supported Miley on tour, then shot their first film, Camp Rock, which catapulted them to stardom.
“We all had a different road to the place where we are now,” explains Joe.
“Nick was on Broadway and we were all doing commercials. We wanted to work in showbusiness in some way, but never expected this – we didn’t ever think we would get to be three brothers in a band.
It’s a dream come true.”
The brothers were brought up in the tree-lined hamlet of Wyckoff, New Jersey.
Their father was an ordained minister and college music teacher and they began performing together as a Christian rock group.
Hey Demi Lovato fans! Since Demi Central is celebrating our 1 year anniversary, we wanted to expand our network. As so many fans been asking us, we finally made a twitter for the fan site. So make sure you have the right URL, follow us and spread the word. The Demi Central’s twitter will be linked up to our site, so when we update, it will send a tweet to the actual twitter account. How cool is that? Now you can keep up to date on what the site has posted. Also, it’s a good way for the staff to communicate with some Demi Lovato fans as well.
In case you just want the 20 second previews of the album songs that aired during the webcast:

According to Lauren: “So paranoid is not doing too well. I want to get it on the radio, because I can tell they tried hard on that song (and the video as well) and that they really really want it to do well. So I called z100 because to request you text a number but they wont let you text for jb cause not enough people requested the song. Soo he said if I can get enough people to call in tomorrow then from then on we can request it . If enough people call in around 6 (earlier is fine too, but its hard to call in any later than 8) to 800.242.0100 then they can get back on the countdown! z100 is their favorite radio station and the one they grew up listening to so I think we should win that station back first!”

Joe Jonas has revealed that his youngest brother may never join the Jonas Brothers because he has started his own band.
Speaking to PA, the singer admitted that eight-year-old Frankie is showing “signs of doing his own thing” after starting a rival band with his best friend.
“He doesn’t know how to play an instrument just quite yet but he’s learning and he’s really talented. He just did a movie and he’s promoting that right now, so there’s all these things that he really wants to do,” he explained.
The 19-year-old added: “Maybe one day down the road but I don’t know of any time soon, but maybe one day we will consider him for the band.”
Frankie Jonas previously opened up about his group during an appearance saying: “We call it The Hollywood Shake-Up. So far, we just have me and my friend and so far, when we recorded, we just did auto-mix. We were like, okay, we need to find some people.”
The Jonas Brothers, who made their big screen debut with this year’s Jonas Brothers 3D, consists of Joe, Kevin, 21, and 16-year-old Nick.

I woke up this morning and found this in our inbox. Talk about a group of fans who are amazingly sweet! I love Portugal JB fans and don’t worry, one day the Jonas Brothers will visit and see how sweet you all are too as well as other countries that aren’t part of the World Tour (it doesn’t mean they won’t have another World Tour in the future or visit so like as they would say “have faithful, restart… hold on”).
Honestly, I love everyone around the nation and world who been visiting Nick J Online and everyone who been sending us letters about the site and such. Little things like this make me love what I do while supporting the Jonas Brothers. Thanks!
