The Jonas Brothers have been touring all summer and they still have FOUR months left on their 2009 World Tour! That’s a LOT of traveling and performing and calls for a ton of stamina from Nick, Kevin and Joe. So, HOW are the boys making sure to stay grounded in the months of sound checks, packed arenas and screaming fans? Their FAMILY! Nick shared a bit about this and said, “It’s about the family base. We’ve made that rule #1 from day one, making sure that the family comes first and that we focus on that. That’s the priority. Also we live by the rule, ‘We live life if it’s at the top like we’re at the bottom,’ which basically means stay humble and keep the right attitude.” It’s so refreshing that the Jonas Brothers are still the SAME guys we fell in love with when they hit the scene a few years ago! If YOU have pictures from a Jonas Brothers concert, send them to Thia@tigerbeatmag.com and they could end up on our website!

Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers to Address the National Press Club on August 24

WASHINGTON, July 30 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Nick Jonas – singer, songwriter, actor and member of the Grammy-nominated band, Jonas Brothers – will speak at a National Press Club luncheon on August 24. Jonas will discuss his personal experiences living with and managing his juvenile diabetes and his efforts to inspire other youth dealing with diabetes to manage their disease.

(Logo: http://www.newscom.com/cgi-bin/prnh/20080917/NPCLOGO)

Since being diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at age 13, the pop super star who tests his blood sugar more than ten times a day, has made a personal commitment to raise awareness about juvenile diabetes. In June, he testified before Congress to call for support of diabetes research funding. He wrote the song “A Little Bit Longer” to inspire those with diabetes to live their lives to the fullest. Together with his brothers Kevin and Joe, Nick founded the Jonas Brothers’ Change for the Children Foundation to support programs that motivate children to face adversity and one of their causes is to raise money and awareness for various diabetes programs.

As a diabetes ambassador with Bayer Diabetes Care, Jonas has launched a national awareness campaign to provide young people and their families with motivation and support to simplify life with the disease. “Nick’s Simple Wins” website (www.NicksSimpleWins.com) helps inspire young people with diabetes to achieve small, everyday victories while managing their disease. Nick and Bayer created dog tags as a symbol of support for people with diabetes, increase awareness about the disease and raise money for his foundation.

The National Press Club luncheon will begin promptly at 12:30 p.m. and Nick Jonas’ remarks will begin just after 1:00 p.m., followed by a question-and-answer session. This event is open to Press Club members and their guests only. Advance reservations should be made by contacting reservations at the National Press Club, (202) 662-7501 or reservations@press.org. Cost of luncheon admission is $17 for National Press Club members, $28 for their guests.

The National Press Club is located at 14th and F Streets, NW, one block west of Metro Center. For more information about the Club and its programs, go to www.press.org.

Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas join Radio Disney’s “Ernie D” in Studio

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

(July 29, 2009) In an exclusive Radio Disney Take Over with “PONYO” co-stars Noah Cyrus and Frankie Jonas on Monday, July 27, the duo joined “Ernie D” in studio and talked about how they first met, dished tips from their famous family members and shared behind-the-scenes details from their upcoming movie.

Frankie told “Ernie D” that the co-stars, recording duo and friends met a few years ago, saying, “First, a long time ago, we actually became friends on iChat.” Noah added, “Miley and Nick were talking and I walked by…”

Noah, 9, and Frankie, 8, who also recorded the movie’s theme song and music video together, shared some words of wisdom from their successful family members that have helped them in their singing and acting endeavors. Noah told “Ernie D” both her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus and her older sister, Miley Cyrus, have given her pointers, saying, “He also does it on the singing, but he also helps me on the guitar… She taught me to always have fun with it.” Frankie told “Ernie D” his famous older brothers, Joe, Nick and Kevin of the Jonas Brothers, told him to “just go by the lines. Do exactly what they say.”

In talking about how he relates to his older brothers, Frankie also told “Ernie D,” “I have the funniness of Joe, the looks of Nick and then the hands of Kevin because I can play the drums.” He also shared that he is a lot like his 16-year-old brother Nick, saying, “I have a lot of adrenaline and I’m very competitive. If you try and beat me in a video game, I would dominate you.”

Noah and Frankie also shared what they thought was the hardest part in filming “PONYO,” which will be in theaters AUGUST 14th from the Academy AwardÆ-winning director and world-renowned Japanese animation legend Hayao Miyazaki. Noah, who is the voice of Ponyo, said the hardest part for her was staying focused while hearing Japanese in the headphones and pretending to snore: “In the headphones I heard Japanese, so it was hard for me… When I had to snore, it was kind of hard because I started laughing and then I started making pig noises and I couldn’t do it right, so we had to do it a hundred times.” Frankie, who voices the character Sosuke, said the hardest part was “when I had to cry two times.”

Aw cute! Back to the place where they first met.

Wedding plans have started for Kevin Jonas and fiance Danielle Deleasa.

An insider tells Star magazine that the couple have chosen the place where they met — The Bahamas — to exchange their vows.

The source shared, “Kevin has told his family that he and Danielle want to marry in a church in the Bahamas and then hold their reception on a beach. They’re already making some of the arrangements and they’re getting close to choosing a date.”

Joe Jonas Wants To Be Kevin’s Best Man

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

Joe Jonas Wants To Be Kevin’s Best Man, But Where Does That Leave The Rest Of The Brothers?

Although there’s still some time before Kevin Jonas and his fiancée, Danielle Deleasa, head down the aisle, it doesn’t mean the other Jonas Brothers aren’t scrambling to get picked to be the oldest JoBro’s best man.

“I want it,” Joe recently told Kiss108 FM. “I’ll be the best best man ever,” but he added that he, as well as Nick and their little brother Frankie, are “cool” with whomever Kevin decides to be at his side on his big day.

Joe’s open campaign for the job, got us to wondering, what it would look like if he did get picked by Nick:

However, Joe did reveal that it doesn’t really matter who gets picked since there’s enough combonations of best-men/grooms to go around. “Eventually if I get married, [the best man is] gonna be Nick, and when it’s Nick, [the best man] gonna be Frankie.”

Our imaginations kept on wondering, so here’s what it would look like if Nick were the best man in Joe’s wedding:

And if Frankie were the best man in Nick’s wedding:

That only leaves one Jonas to stand up for Frankie, so Kevin, you’re the guy!

What do you think about the Jonas Brother’s best man flow chart?
