“Nick Jonas and his dad found PJ Bianco and hired him as their songwriter”
August 20, 2:57 PMBianco was pretty much a self-taught songwriter who used his mentors very well. After studying composition at the Conservatory of Music at SUNY Purchase College in New York graduating with a BFA in Music, he immediately went on an internship to train his songwriting skills at Quad Recording Studio in Manhattan and The Loft Recording Studio in Bronxville. Additionally, he assisted and gained valuable insight into the music business from such producers and mixers as Carl Sturken and Evan Rogers –who was responsible for the launch of Rihanna, according to SusanblondInc.com. These producers and sound mixers also worked with Kanye West, Eric Foster White, and Michael Brauer to name a few.
Then Bianco met his fate in New Jersey that sent him to stardom: Nick Jonas and his father at his local church before The Jonas Brothers title existed. At the church he wrote and produced a song called “Time for Me to Fly” which sparked epic records interest that became Nick’s first single on his solo album at the age of 10, Bianco said. Together, Bianco and The Jonas Brothers created over 10 songs which of the two earned him two Teen Choice Awards in 2008 for Best Love Song (hit single “When You Look Me In The Eyes”) and Best Single. Bianco would write in the Jonas’ recording studio bus while on tour with The Jonas Brothers, according to SusanblondInc.com. Besides the Jonas Brothers, Bianco has worked with other popstars including Demi Lovato, Mitchel Musso, Varsity Fan Club and Teddy Geiger…
