I have added two new personal/random photos to our site’s gallery. The first photo was from back when the boys and Demi Lovato were doing the South America tour and they were just on the plane. “Which ‘Woodstock’ Star Would Camp Out for Jonas Brothers Tickets?”

“Taking Woodstock” is the new Ang Lee movie which chronicles what went on behind the scenes in the weeks leading up to the iconic festival. More concerned with the people who put musicians on the stage than the singers themselves, the film is a fascinating — and incredibly well-replicated — look at 1969.

The film stars Demetri Martin, Emile Hirsch, Jonathan Groff and Liev Schreiber and I recently had the chance to sit down with all four to chat about their characters, life on the set and what musicians they would camp out to see. Any guesses as to which one picked The Jonas Brothers?

I can’t believe, I start this website two years ago on this same day! Happy 2nd Birthday, Nick J Online!

I first started out this site because the fact, Nick Jonas did not have a fan site (believe it or not but it’s true) at the time and I thought he was a great role model and I was touched by his people magazine feature “Diabetes: Won’t Stop Nick Jonas”. In the past two years, there was tons of great, bad things that had happen with all of us: Nick Jonas, Jonas Brothers, the Nick J Online Staff, and Nick J Online.

I thank all the previous co-webs for their past help. Yet, I deeply appreciate all the work our current co-webs try to do through their busy schedule and sticking it out with me. For the fans and visitors, without the great support from you all, this site wouldn’t of made it without you guys. To the ones who been visiting the site since the very beginning, I love your dedication. Thanks to all the people who have been ordering merchandise through our site, spreading the word about the site, and doing much as that can to help us! Of course, thank you very much to Nick Jonas and the Jonas Brothers for being the main reason why this site even began. You guys been a great inspiration in many ways for all.

Overall, thank you all for the great (or should I say “pretty awesome”) two years. Let’s not slow down now!

P.s. Nick Jonas, I hope I made you proud. :)

I realize the other temporary layout was only making the site slower for some reason because the whole layout was mostly made from graphics, so I decided to change our current layout’s title/header image for our two year anniversary/birthday is coming up on August 28th. Our new layout won’t be able to be coded for another 2 weeks according to the designer.

I am sorry that sometimes especially in the mornings/afternoons the site is slow due to the high traffic. We are slowly trying to figure new tips to try out to make the site go faster. Hopefully something works out soon! We are going to try to ask our host to help us web optimize this site in the future.

Also, next week I will review the “Prize Poster” Contestants and see which ones will win a prize!

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Teen pop star Nick Jonas, taking a break from touring with his brothers to raise awareness of juvenile diabetes, said he dreams about being U.S. president and may study political science in college.

The 16-year-old singer, songwriter and member of pop trio the Jonas Bros, spoke on Monday to a sold-out audience at the National Press Club, a venue often reserved for presidents, kings and chief executives but for Jonas had many seats occupied by teenage and pre-teen girls.

Jonas talked about raising awareness and funding for juvenile diabetes, a disease he was diagnosed with in 2005.

Asked about recent trips to Washington, the youngest of the Jonas Bros told the crowd “I’ve always had this dream of becoming president one day.” He said it was “very cool” and “such an honor” to visit the White House earlier this year.

The brothers made a surprise visit to President Barack Obama’s daughters in January, and Nick Jonas met Obama in June as part of his diabetes efforts.

In an interview with Reuters, Jonas said his talk of wanting to be president was not entirely a tease. “As much as I joke about it and kind of say it to get a laugh, it is somewhat serious. I don’t know if it will happen,” he said.

If he goes to college, “I’d probably study English and then political science because I’m interested in it,” he said. At the moment, he’s touring with his band and will start shooting for TV show “Camp Rock 2″ with his brothers in September.

Jonas told the press club audience he has learned to manage his diabetes while keeping a busy touring schedule but had adjusted his diet to help regulate blood sugar.

A song he wrote about diabetes includes a line saying “You don’t know what you got ’til it’s gone,” and an audience member asked Jonas what he was referring to.

“Probably chocolate cake,” he joked.

Jonas said he still eats his favorite foods but closely monitors his diet. There have been “one or two moments” during concerts when he asked his brothers to talk a bit longer on stage while he stepped away to check his sugar levels. He wears a diabetic insulin pump on his lower back while performs.

In response to questions, Jonas said he does not currently have a girlfriend and would consider dating a fan.

“I didn’t know I was going to get in a suit today and have to talk about that kind of stuff,” he said with a smile.
