Hi Nick,
My name is Isaiah and I’m type 1 diabetic on an insulin pump. I just wondered what you thought about the omnipod pump because I am up for a new pump this october and my mom and dad are trying to decide which one is best for me. I have had my medtronic pump for 5 years and I am a very athletic kid, playing hockey, baseball (#1), and basketball. I am 8 years old and had a look at the omnipod but I don’t like to put my sites anywhere except my belly and the pod fell off. My mom and dad think it’s a great choice for a kid like me because I could put it on my arm or leg, and while playing hockey currently, the waistband rubs on my line and site usually causing it to fall off. This means I am changing my site every other day during hockey season versus every 3 days. I love your music, your good guy image and you’re a great role model with your diabetes. I was diagnosed when I was 1 years old and I’m on my 8th year being diabetic. It sucks, but seeing people like you gives me hope and courage. Thank-you.

P.S. Your concert in sept/10 in Toronoto was Awesome….my mom took me and we had front row center Vip tickets! It was a lot of fun even for my mom. :0)
