If we’ve seemed at all out of sorts lately, it’s because we’ve really been struggling to fill a huge void in our lives — but fear not! Because that void is about to be refilled. Collectively, the Jonas Brothers have been AWOL for the past few months — and while we understand that they can’t do everything together all the time, it’d be a lot easier for us to keep track of their handsome mugs (and avoid future life-voids) if they just stayed in the same place. Forever. We’ve got a whole lot of love for plenty of other boy bands out there, but the JoBros are special. The JoBros are, well, BROS. And there’s something pretty presh about keeping harmonies in the family. (Also because, eyebrows.)
So, when we got word that Joe, Kevin and Nick would all be appearing on the cover of FAULT Magazine’s Fall 2013 issue at the same time AND talking about their new album, V, we swooned SO hard – like, right here at our desks. It was basically like watching a bunch of really stylish dominoes topple over in graceful succession. Basically. (FYI: No one was injured in said swooning.) Once we recovered, we peeped some shots from their “illumination”-themed shoot, and then we swooned again. JK we just squealed really loud instead because HI, they’re hot.
For the cover, Joe rocked a few decadent bracelets by David Yurman and head-to-toe John Varvatos. Kevin (P.S. CONGRATS ON THE BB GIRL NEWS!) wore a sharp black tie and crisp white shirt from Dolce & Gabbana and a good-lookin’ Oumlil suit. Not-so-little little Bro, Nick, donned a charcoal tie by Title of Work, a black shirt by John Lawrence Sullivan, an Oumlil suit and Varvatos shoes. They clean up RULL good, amirite?
Inside the mag, the JoBros gave a little insight into V, which is set to be released later this fall. “It’s definitely different than our previous releases,” Nick says. “There’s a lot of growth in the music. I had the pleasure of producing as well, which was fun for me.” You know what’s fun for US? All the Bros being back on tour. “It’s incredible,” Nick says. “I think each one of us, though-with the break and the time-off-have a newfound appreciation for our own beds and home, but it’s been incredible to be on the road again and playing music.”
The full interview with the band hits newsstands on October 15th (pre-order here), but for now, we’ll leave you with this parting though, courtesy of big Bro, Joe. When asked how the Jonai work best, Joe told FAULT, “We always have passion projects that might be individual, but at the end of the day, working together is something we really love.” AWW. YOU GUYS. PLZ WORK TOGETHER 4EVER LUVU KTHXBAI. (Long live the JoBros!)
