JONAS Brothers pop star Joe Jonas is all shook up about Shakespeare.
He paid a visit to the Bards hometown this week to pick up some acting tips from staff at the world famous Royal Shakespeare Company .
Joe, left, one third of the well-known American pop rock boy band The Jonas Brothers, was appearing in concert at the NEC’s LG Arenas on Tuesday and took time out from the UK tour to visit Stratford.
He also filmed a special segment for the second series of the Disney Channel series Jonas Brothers: Living The Dream.
Joe spent time in Stratford with RSC actor Sam Alexander, who plays Sebastian in the RSC’s current production of Twelfth Night.
Joe made it back in time to the NEC for the bands sell-out concert and his Stratford visit is expected to be shown on TV next year.
The 20-year-old singer and musician has guest starred with his brothers in the past on Hannah Montana and filmed movie Camp Rock.
Their reality series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream, premiered on Disney Channel earlier this year.

VIEW VIDEO CLIPDisney favourites the Jonas Brothers are spreading their love of music.
The teen trio, who are currently touring Europe, made a surprise visit to Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead, UK, to teach students about the importance of music.
“We’re here today to talk to the students here at this wonderful school, just about the importance of music, the importance of getting involved with music if you can, our love of music, and what we’ve learned in our experiences so far. And hopefully we’ll give them some insight into what it’s like to be a musician and an artist,” said Nick Jonas.
The music session was part of the Department for Children, Schools and Families’ campaign, Tune In – Year of Music. The campaign is partnered with the Disney Channel.
During a special music class taught by the Jonas’, students learned how to play the guitar, put together a song and basic music techniques.
The brothers also shared their own experiences on being in a band and took questions from fans before treating them to a special performance.
Tune In – Year of Music is a nationwide government initiative to promote music in UK schools.
“Music is not just something that’s done as a hobby it’s proven to have a real impact on the way people learn and on the development of their brain,” explained Steve Williamson, Head Teacher at Ryton Comprehensive School. “In Gateshead about 4,000 people learn a musical instrument, but very often students give up at secondary level as things get busy as academic pressures come in and we think it’s important to keep that balance going throughout their lives.”

US boy band The Jonas Brothers are to host a special music lesson for 200 pupils at a Tyneside school.
Joe, Kevin and Nick Jonas will visit Ryton Comprehensive School in Gateshead later to pass on tips on learning guitar and song arranging.
The visit is part of the government’s Tune In – Year of Music campaign which aims to inspire young musicians.
The three brothers said they were excited to be given the chance to share their “passion” for the subject.
Kevin Jonas said: “We hope to inspire kids to pick up an instrument if they have never done so before or to practice more if they already know how to play.”
The clean-cut band, which has so far failed to break into the UK top 10 singles chart, has attracted a large teenage following by staring in Disney films such as Camp Rock.
Steve Williamson, head teacher at the school, said “We are very proud to have The Jonas Brothers come to our school today.
“Ryton runs a number of extra-curricular music activities and I hope that The Jonas Brothers coming to the school will inspire more children to get involved in music.”
The group is set to play at Newcastle Metro Radio Arena following the visit.
