From Selina: Today I was visiting Northwestern University by Chicago, IL and around 2 PM after the school tour was over my friend and I spotted Nick Jonas and his dad who were also visiting. Not many people noticed him because he didn’t have big security or his other brothers, but he did take pictures with us. He was really nice, well-mannered, and shy. He thanked us for being fans.’

Clad in plaid shorts, Nick Jonas and pop Paul make their way into a car after landing at Dulles airport on Tuesday morning (June 23) in Chantilly, Virginia.
According to the Washington Examiner, the 16-year-old musician was spotted at Barney’s CO-OP before grabbing some pizza at Numero Uno on M Street this afternoon.
Later in the day, Nick will be meeting with Sen. Frank Lautenberg, where he is set to discuss juvenile diabetes and the organization he started that raises money for the disease. Nick will address the Senate Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs on the same issue tomorrow (June 24).

Hey everyone!
We have been so busy over the last week. Thanks for all of the support and for
MAKING LINES, VINES AND TRYING TIMES the NUMBER ONE CD THIS WEEK in the US. We also heard that it is doing well in Mexico, South America and Europe. We have the best fan in world!
We had an awesome time in Canada co-hosting the MuchMusic Video Awards. IT was great to meet so many of the fans. We heard stories of people camping out for weeks. Crazy! Thanks for all of the love and support.
Then we flew to TULSA, Oklahoma for our show last night. We asked you to bring it and YOU DID!!! It was amazing.

Today, Nick is in Washington, DC to meet with the President and delegates from around the nation in Washington to help with JDRF (Diabetes).

Singer Nick Jonas is starring in a new advert promoting a diabetes blood test machine. Nick, the youngest of the Jonas Brothers, spoke out about having the disease last year in which he revealed he lost 15lbs in two weeks. Now 16, the singer and guitarist manages his diabetes and his blood sugar level by using a Contour machine to measure his levels via a glucose test strip.

In the 30-second black and white advert, Nick can be seen holding the device as he reveals: “Having the right tools is crucial in being able to manage your diabetes properly. “It’s very important to me to check by blood sugar before I go on stage. “Being on while I am feeling low can be like being on a rollercoaster.
“It does at times feel like my body is telling me one thing and my mind and my heart is telling me to do something else. Managing my highs and lows is super important.
“My Contour means I can personalise my high-low settings so it really does micro manage where my blood sugar needs to be. “I’m Nick Jonas and never slowing down is my simple way.” The advert is currently airing on TV in the US.

“Hi! I’m a huge fan of your fansite, and of course, JB! This afternoon, my cousin was able to get tickets for the Jonas Brother’s rehersal concert. What it was was an entire run through of how the World Tour concert will be. It was at the New Cowboys Stadium here in Arlington, Texas on June 19, 2009. So, I just wanted to let you know that JB had a “rehersal concert” and that it was absolutly amazing. Anyone who will be attending this tour will NOT be disappointed. The only advice I could give is that if you have floor seats, get ready to get up, close, and personal (literally) with Joe & Kevin and also wear clothes you wouldn’t mind getting wet in. :] I just thought it would be a fun fact to share with your fansite & the fans. As for the opening acts, Honor society went first & they were really good. After it was Jesse James & Jordin Sparks and (they saved the best for last), the Jonas Brothers. Unfortunately, Jesse James will not be at every show, but Honor Society & Jordin will. I just hope that anyone who attends a concert, will have the time of their lives. What the Jonas Brothers have in store for you, is AMAZING! They had said 30 feet (water, foam), so I guess that’s how far. As for the videos/pictures, we weren’t allowed since it wasn’t “official” opening night, they didn’t want anyone ruining the surprise for others. I’m sorry. But it was amazing. -Carmen”
