The Jonas Brothers stopped by Live! With Kelly and Michael this morning to chat with Kelly Ripa and guest host Carrie Ann Inaba and perform two songs, including their latest single “Pom Poms.” The boys covered everything from making their fifth album, to Kevin’s show Married To Jonas, to whether or not they ever fight (answer: of course, they’re brothers, duh!).

“It’s really hard work,” Kevin said of his E! reality show, which, really? The show’s crew traveled with and filmed the JoBros as they were touring in South America. Kevin also showed off a new tattoo of wife Danielle’s name on his left ring finger. Joe mentioned that the brothers have been writing together a lot for this upcoming album, and claims to win most often when the brothers fight. The boys then performed an energetic rendition of “Pom Poms,” complete with a four-piece marching band section, to which Kelly and Carrie Ann did indeed put their pom poms down. To close out the show, they played “First Time.”

First of all, can we just say that Kevin and Danielle Jonas are even cuter together in person than they look on TV? Throughout our entire interview with them they were holding hands and laughing. Adorable. But what you really want to know is what they talked to us about, right?

Kev and Dani opened up to OKMagazine.com about season 2 of Married to Jonas, what’s planned for the live performance of “Pom Poms” on the upcoming Jonas Brothers tour, how they really feel when everyone asks them why they don’t have kids, and which two 90′s stars the couple is best friends with in real life. It’s safe to say, MTV News has never had a pom-pom-wielding squad of cheerleaders in the newsroom, but when we found out the Jonas Brothers would be stopping by, we thought, hey, now’s the time to bring some pep to the office. “Go Jonas! Go Jonas, go!”

Dozens of fans, along with the Columbia University cheerleaders, grouped around the MTV Newsroom on Wednesday (April 17) evening to hang out with their favorite boy band for “Jonas Brothers: Live from MTV.” And though the guys’ latest “Pom Poms” video wasn’t completely recreated, there was something about the 30-minute sit-down that had the same, playful vibe — there was competition, lots of dancing and plenty of spunk.

Along with dishing on their long-awaited summer tour and talking new music, the brothers made some dirty jokes and… applied some lipstick? That’s right, Kevin, Joe and Nick played a bunch of games with their fans, which ended in a dizzy, blindfolded fiasco with makeup smeared over lucky (or unlucky, depending on how you look at it) fans. It seems like they’ve never had much practice.

Things got really crazy when the Jonas Brothers took some questions from the fans. “Who was ‘Pom Poms’ inspired by?” You know, we’re all wondering. Turns out that Joe has a thing for Sofia Vergara. Hmmm, Sofia and pom poms? Whatever was he thinking?

The interview took a turn for the scandalous when a fan asked out the craziest rumor the trio has heard. Nick was quick on his feet after many ensuing giggles. “When’s the sex tape come out, Joe? I’m waiting.”

“I’ll get you the director’s cut,” Joe responded snarkily.

Jonas Brothers Talk Comeback Album

After a three-year hiatus, the Jonas Brothers are back! The pop star trio sat down with ET Canada, dishing on their new album and upcoming tour.

“I think it was important for us to take a minute to live some life,” Nick said of their break.

During their time apart, Kevin Jonas has been filming his reality show Married to Jonas, Joe released a solo album and Nick helped coach contestants on The X Factor.

“We look at this next phase of our career with that same wide-eyed feeling we had when we first started, because it is like starting over,” said Nick.

Their new tour launches this summer and fans will be glad to know that the process will be well-documented on the next season of Married to Jonas.

“You’ll see pieces of our life — what it’s like on the road,” said Kevin.
