Nick: My brothers and I listen to hip-hop and drink Red Bull to get pumped up.

Nick: I love watching sports, and I like to be outside, even if it’s raining.

Nick (on the song, “Still In Love With You”): I wrote that song after a breakup. It’s like, where a couple of weeks go by, and you still find yourself in love with your ex.

Nick: On the way to the hospital, Kevin and Joe looked up diabetes online. They knew more about it than I did before I got there! They’re there for me all the time!

Nick (on his diabetes): I want people to know I am not going to let this slow me down!

Nick: Even though we [him and his brothers] have a younger brother, I’m considered the baby. But I’m more adult than Joe and Kevin!

Nick (to his brother, Joe): You’re ideas are pointless.

Nick: It doesn’t matter if the world is pulling you down. With Christ you have everything.

Nick: Joe took me under his arm like the hero that he is. Joe saved my life, so I owe him.

Nick (on how he used to be with relationships): I used to rush into things a lot. That didn’t work too well. Now I take it slow-get to know the girl and stuff. I found that it works better. But if its really awesome I’ll jump into it.

Nick (on what he looks for in a girl) : I look for someone who has confidence. Also someone whose energetic, cause I’m NOT that energetic.

Nick: Yo that’s illogical, I can’t have it!

Nick (talking about his purity ring): I got my ring at Disney World!

Nick: I like looking at the stars on a clear night.

Nick: I’m here for you.

Nick (when he calls a girl): My heart starts beating really fast and I have this thing where I gulp sometimes.

Nick: Some girls try too hard to get guys’ attentions by not wearing much clothes. When a girl dresses nicely with good taste it says that she has confidence and that she takes pride in her appearance.

Nick: What I’m looking for in a girl is someone who will understand my crazy schedule and will be there to support me. Just a girl who will make me smile and keep me happy.

Nick: My pick up line is, “Slow down, sugar, because I’m a diabetic”!

Nick: I thought the popular kids were the cool kids. I got caught up in that, and it was bogus. High school is about finding who you are because that’s more important than trying to be someone else.

Nick: (on songs they wrote for the self-titled cd) You know what I’m going through now, Kevin’s already gone through and Joe’s already gone through, so we can all kinda relate to each other.

Nick: What I’m looking for in a girl is someone who will understand my crazy schedule and will be there to support me. Just a girl who will make me smile and keep me happy.

Nick (quote from HM): You? I shared my nachos with that guy!

Nick: Drinking and smoking are not something I want to do. Not only because I have diabetes; it’s not the lifestyle I am into.

Nick (quote from HM): Wow, you’re pretty.

Nick (on his diabetes): At first, I asked, “Why me?” Then I thought, “Why not me?”

Nick (on being a heartthrob and doing music): It’s any guys dream, and the fact I am able to live it is awesome.

Nick: Every diabetic has foods that won’t work for them [sending your blood sugar soaring]. Mine are pancakes and soda.

Nick: Goodnight and Goodbye is a song about a girl when you go through a breakup and your are about to go through a break up and it’s kind of like, “You know what? Goodnight and goodbye!”. Because I feel like that whenever I leave a relationship, the best way to do it is just like, “Peace. Goodbye.”

Nick: Don’t be afraid to tell your friends [if you are diabetic]. Use it as an opportunity to get closer to them.

Nick: I love earlobes! No, I’m kidding. I would have to say if a girl has beautiful eyes, I’m going to be interested.

Nick: You know, five thousand push-ups [joking on what he does before a show].

Nick: Hi, Welcome to the Nick Jonas Show, I’m Nick Jonas, and today, we are talking about anger.

Nick (on the concept of “Games”): I had this joke that I thought was really funny, “No, board games make me bored.”

Nick: I’ll respond to your text message, baby.

Nick (on his fashion style): I think I created my own style. I like to be more dressed up. Almost a little more preppy. But I call it, “Formal Rock” cause I have bright green shoes on. And I rolled up the sleeves, which is the key!

Nick (on sleeping in the bus than a hotel): No! We are sleeping on the bus.

Nick: I am in love with you, I am in love with you!

Nick: You know what we did do? We watched a whole special on hippos.

Nick: I think for us our faith has been a big part of everything we do all of our lives and we’re just being who we are. (ADDED – JULY 2008)

Nick:: Now, I have a question. How many of you have been through a hard time in your life? One of those moments where life throws you a curve ball. I had one of those moments 3 and a half years ago, when I was diagnosed with diabetes. It was a shock. At the hospital, I made a commitment to myself that I wouldn’t let it slow me down. And I’m here tonight to tell you that it hasn’t slowed me down. Now today-I met a few wonderful people who have also been through a hard time.

They told me that my story encouraged them. Now tell me – who would have thought that my hard time would one day encourage all of you. And I was having another one of those days where my blood sugar was out of control, it was a tough day. So I sat down and I wrote this song. This song right here, is for every broken heart, for every lost dream, for every single tear. For every high, and for every low.

Now what I want you to do – is I wanna hear you sing. I wanna hear every broken heart, every lost dream, and every person thats getting through a high and a low, I wanna hear you sing this song out with all your heart. (ADDED – JULY 2008)

Nick: I was born in Dallas, which makes performing with my brothers at the Cowboys halftime on Thanksgiving an incredible honor. (ADDED – OCTOBER 2008)

Nick (on Kevin Engaged Rumor): I like that, that was my favorite one. I was like, “Kevin, thanks for telling me that you’re getting engaged! I was in the store with you!” (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)

Nick (on the band lasting forever): That’s what we love to do. We always say that if any of us decide to do anything else it would be a parallel project. The band is the most important thing in our lives. And we are brothers so it’s ever harder for us to be apart. (laughs) I see us doing this for a long time. (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)

Nick (on best memory of 2008): When we released our album – ALBL – in august, in NY’s Times Square. There were 40 thousand people just to see us. (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)

Nick (on celebrating christmas in 2008): I think this year will be really nice though because we’ll be for the first time at our home in Texas so it will be warm enough to play golf which I’m gonna love but also cold enough to feel like Christmas and all that. And we have our Uncle Josh who lives in Texas and now with our new Aunt, they just got married. Family, friends. (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)

Nick (on buying christmas gifts): The best thing was when I could pay for things with my own money, when I turned like 13 and I could finally have something that I could pay for as opposed to someone else paying for it and that was such a great feeling and then I fell in love with giving gifts as opposed to, you kinda become that age and oh, it’s so much more fun to give them. Nick (on when not working): We don’t do nothing special. We like to play videogame, like Guitar Hero. We do what guys of our age do. Sometimes we go to the movies with our friends. We only want to live our dream and play to our fans. (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)

Nick (on a secret of Kevin): He likes… Well… Kevin is a guy who likes clothes from Louis Vuitton… (laughs). (ADDED – DECEMBER 2008)
