The Jonas Brothers, Kim Clijsters, Rafael Nadal, Demi Lovato and others hold court tomorrow at the Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing. No, the JoBros aren’t playing tennis, just music. It’s part of the 15th annual Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, which remembers the tennis great Ashe and his mission to help kids through the sport and education. “We love the fact that Ashe [got] kids involved with tennis and sports overall. He’s a great role model and a real icon both on and off the court,” Kevin Jonas tells The Post. “We’re really honored to be associated with an event that bears the name and legacy of Arthur Ashe.” In addition to the musical performances, top tennis stars will offer exhibitions and clinics — and kids can even find out how fast their serve is. It all happens from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. (the big acts play in the afternoon; tickets, $10 to $20). For details, go to usta.usopen.org/ArthurAsheKidsDay. As for their tennis skills, Jonas admits, “We may not be the best players in the world, but we love the sport.” — Don Kaplan

    BROCKTON —

Eight-year-old Juliana Nakouzi can’t drive yet, but she pledged along with the Jonas Brothers not to ever text and drive on Thursday.

Pressing her thumb onto a blue ink pad, the Bridgewater girl then stamped her thumbprint onto a large white board along with other youths from across New England at Campanelli Stadium.

Those who made the pledge also got to see the brothers Kevin, Joe and Nick “X the text” on the ballfield, amid thousands of cheering fans.

“We’re just excited to be here!” said Nakouzi, a student at the George Mitchell Elementary School in Bridgewater.

The Jonas Brothers returned to Brockton Thursday to play softball, as they have at tour stops around the country. The platinum-selling group performed at the Comcast center in Mansfield on Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The group’s second visit to Brockton drew nearly 5,000 fans, mostly preteen and teenage girls with their parents. Officials said all 4,750 free tickets – which is the stadium’s full capacity – were distributed.

“We love them all, but Nick’s definitely our favorite,” said Jess Thompson, 14, of Whitman.

The Jonas Brothers’ team, dubbed the Road Dogs, is made up of the three brothers along with musicians and others who are part of the tour.

This year, the brothers urged their fans not to text and drive as a special event during the game. A state law passed earlier this summer bans text messaging while driving and prohibits drivers under 18 from using any type of cell phone or mobile electronic device.

The brothers partnered with Allstate insurance to spread the message “to X the text.”

“We want to make the roads safe for everybody,” Kevin Jonas, 22, told The Enterprise on the ballfield.

“You know, a lot of people are out there doing it,” Jonas said. “Everybody’s guilty of texting and driving, and I think it would raise awareness to (take the pledge not to) and it really makes a difference.”

The Road Dogs played a seven-inning game against a team from the Marquis Jet Corp. – ultimately winning 25-17.

Girls screamed wildly throughout the game for the brothers, who each got several at-bats.

At one point the crowd erupted into cheers when Nick Jonas hit a 3-run homer. Then, as the famous brothers stood near home plate, a crowd of girls could be heard singing, “Baby, I like it!”

When asked if the screaming attention ever gets old, Joe Jonas, 21, said, “Absolutely not. It’s amazing.”

He said the brothers have each other’s back.

“We’re a team, so we’ve got to make sure we build each other up on, and off, the field,” Joe Jonas said.

“We try. We don’t see the point in fighting,” Nick Jonas said.

Seating for the event was assigned. The tickets were free. Some lucky fans sat close to the celebrities’ dugout, shouting “Hi” to the brothers and snapping digital photographs.

After the game the brothers high-fived a line of screaming young fans.

“I love them,” said Jenna Burke, 15, of Halifax, moments after she and sisters Jess Thompson and Katie Thompson, 15, both of Whitman, stood up to shout out to the brothers.

Alex Nelson, 20, of Brockton, was among fans who signed the brothers’ tour bus. “It’s exciting to see them up close,” Nelson said.

It was the second visit to Brockton for the Jonas Brothers.

Last summer, the brothers first came to Campanelli Stadium in a surprise visit to play softball. On July 18, 2009, they tweeted the Brockton location to fans at the last minute, and more than 1,000 teenage girls from throughout New England drove to the stadium to watch them play.

The Jonas Brothers & Demi Lovato Talk ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ (Video)
by Maggie Furlong, posted Aug 23rd 2010 9:30PM

The Jonas Brothers! And Demi Lovato! (Shhh … if you’re quiet, you can hear the wild screams of tween fans around the world.)

‘Camp Rock’ was such a sensational hit for the Disney Channel, they smartly decided to get the gang back together for ‘Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam’ (premieres Fri., Sept. 3, 8PM ET). But something’s standing in the way of Mitchie and the boys having a rockin’ summer: rival Camp Star across the lake. The whole thing ends in a musical battle to end all battles, deciding which is the better camp.

I caught up with Nick, Joe, Kevin and Demi to hear all about the sequel, some new characters and some that’ve grown up since the first film and if there are more ‘Camp Rock’ movies in their future.

Joining the cast of Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam, actress Chloe Bridges had no clue just how huge a project it was. “I had no idea what a phenomenon Camp Rock had become and it blew me away,” she tells TVGuide.com. The 18-year-old plays Dana Turner, who arrives from Camp Rock’s rival camp to have a star-crossed romance with Nate (Nick Jonas). Bridges talks about why her role is the “Switzerland” of all the characters and how she accidently pushed Jonas, 17, into freezing cold lake water.

TVGuide.com: Who do you play in Camp Rock 2?
Chloe Bridges: I play Dana, the daughter of the owner of the rival camp [Camp Star]. The cool thing about Dana is she is just real and raw and honest and uninhibited — she is definitely an empowered female. She ends up liking Nate (Nick Jonas) and Nate likes her and they have a little romance. She actually approaches him, flirts with him first, which is I think is awesome.

TVGuide.com: Tell me about his song to Dana, “Introducing Me.”
Bridges: That was so much fun to shoot. I was actually nervous going in because it was our very first day of work, my very first day on the set. It was a scene toward the end of the movie, so I didn’t really know what to expect, but it was a lot of fun. I didn’t really have to do much, just smile a lot. It’s a really cute scene and a really cute song.

TVGuide.com: Does Dana butt heads with the other girls?
Bridges: Actually, no, only because she doesn’t really interact with any of the other girls in the movie. They would refer to Dana as Switzerland — she doesn’t get involved in the Camp Rock/Camp Star battle thing.

TVGuide.com: Were you excited to be a part of something so popular?
Bridges: I actually didn’t quite know what I was getting myself into. I had no idea what a phenomenon Camp Rock had become and it blew me away how supportive and passionate the fans are. They would wait outside where we were shooting just to see us drive into work and that blew my mind. I’ve never worked on a movie that has so much hype around it.

TVGuide.com: What was the audition process like?
Bridges: When I auditioned for the role, I went the whole shebang where I had to act, dance, sing and play an instrument. It was quite an audition process, so I assumed my character would be singing and dancing in the movie. However, because Dana doesn’t get involved in the competition and drama between the two camps, she is not in any performance number. So I didn’t get to utilize my singing and dancing, but I got to incorporate my piano.

TVGuide.com: Any funny moments from behind the scenes?
Bridges: I kind of pushed Nick into a lake, not on purpose at all, and I felt really bad. At the end of this scene, I’m supposed to encourage him to go back into his canoe. We’re filming by the lake and it’s muddy. In one take, I got a little too into it and instead of putting my hand on his back and pretending to push him, I actually used force and pushed him into freezing cold water.

TVGuide.com: Did he take it well?
Bridges: He did because he’s Nick and he’s the man and takes everything well, but I would’ve been mad.

Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam premieres Sept. 3 at 8/7c on the Disney Channel.

Gravity happens—even if you’re a member of the Jonas family.

The Jonas clan was taken down twice by the cruel law of gravity over the weekend at the Nikon Theater in Jones Beach, New York, where the Jonas Brothers rocked the house on Saturday. First the pop trio’s grandfather, Jerry, took a spill after being presented with a birthday cake and serenaded in honor of his 70th birthday. Grandpa Jonas decided to grandstand a little bit and bust out a chicken dance, at which point he became intimately acquainted with the floor of the Nikon’s stage. (Don’t worry; he recovered pretty quickly.) Check it out in the video below. Not to be outdone by his elder, Nick Jonas took a tumble while exiting the stage following the group’s encore. Either someone littered the stage with banana peels that day, or clumsiness runs in the Jonas family.

The Jonas Brothers have been enjoying a break from their busy schedules this summer and most recently enjoyed the finer side of fame.

Joe and Kevin Jonas, along with Kevin’s wife Danielle, hit up the NYC hot spot Hudson Terrace on Tuesday night after attending the Tom Petty concert.

While Joe was minus his recent rumored gal pal Ashley Greene, Kevin and Danielle were loved up enough for the whole family.

“They kept to themselves and canoodled in a corner cabana,” a source told RadarOnline.com.

While the couple was locked in their newlywed cloud of bliss, Joe “was mingling and was very friendly, taking photos with fans and chatting with them.”

The Jonas Brothers may have burst onto the teen scene at the beginning of their career but are clearly moving into adult territory. Hudson Terrace’s crowd has brought the likes of Nicholas Cage, Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith, and the Black Eyed Peas out this summer.
